@Codeth1986 yeah as soon as the poster said activation is tripped I thought that MS thinks it's a new processor . Changes to the micro code affect the cpu identifying parameters used by MS to recognise new hardware installations.
Might also be a sign of instability, as it runs a check sum and if it fails that, this may pop up. Reboot, and it should be gone -> instability. If you lost your lisence because it thinks it detects new hardware... that shouldnt be an issue with bios updates...
You might have noticed by now that even if you re-install Windows 11 like I had to do after flashing to the latest bios (which I regret doing), that Microsoft detects the system and will auto-activate it, or it did on my computer, and I re-installed Windows 11 twice but it's still got a glitch since I updated that bios.. /KICK myself.
Hi - Had a similar issue and it was connected to Core Isolation (Intel (VMX) Virtualization Technology)- being turned on when the Bios was updated (I had it turned off to increase performance) - Went into the bios and disabled and Windows now shows Activated.
Boot into your bios and check what it’s reporting your cpu as. But since your windows is picking it up it it thinks you have a new pc. Hence the request to activate.

I did one of these microcode bios updates a couple months back and it did the same thing and the only fix is to buy another windows license.
This is absolutely normal its like having a new cpu.

a 14700k on a bad branded biostar b760m , you won't even get the full potential of your cpu dude, change to a z790 or at least a decent b760 board
DC loadline should NOT be changed, as it will screw with your sensors and does not affect the outputted voltage.
