My favourite country in the world. I’ve been going to India since the early 1990. Love the place and it’s culture…and the food is to die for!
You are so kind, thankyou!
What is so good about the food......???
@@marlenemcmillan8891india is the place where spicies were born, so here the food has variety of flavours as we know the spicies better than any country.
you can try indian food but you won't experience the real taste if you're trying it outside of India.
even in India, there are different places to go if you want best of the best.
@@marlenemcmillan8891Why don't you try it and see for yourself? Nobody can taste food on your behalf.
The GOLDEN TEMPLE did not disappoint, Noraly. I’m blown away by the amount of research you must be doing for some of these videos. All the local knowledge is such a large part of what makes these productions so watchable. This part of India is a real eye opener, thank you so much for all you do while moving at what seems to be a pretty fast pace…❤❤❤Rick

yeah really! Specially in those tight traffic areas
Other then that you should be ashamed at how your people drive... but then again there is trash everywhere and if you cant even take care of that you really cant expect people to follow traffic laws
I'll be honest, I've been driving for over 40 years, but I would be scared to drive in India. Congratulations Noraly for your calm and tranquility. Have a good trip.

Thank you!
Great adventure again. Did I warn you for the drivers on the road to Jammu ? Amritsar was the first city in India that I came to, overlanding by myself from Nederland to India, when I was 21 years old. The Golden tempel is really worth any waiting. Very very impressive. The Sikh people are respected all over the world for their emphasis on healthy and cleanliness both fysical and moral and mental 👍👍😀

Noraly's Pit Stop Lunch ; SARSON KA SAAG + MAKAI KI ROTI :
In context, Saag is used to describe stewed or puréed greens. Any type of greens can be used in Saag, but mustard greens (called Sarson) are the most common in Pakistan and India. In Punjabi cuisine, Sarson Ka Saag (or Sarson Da Saag) is often paired with flaky cornmeal flatbread (makai ki roti ) 🙏
The Sikhs are extremely good soldiers. In Burma WW2 My father commanded 5000 men, among them were Sikhs and he praised them for the effectiveness, loyalty and excellent service they provided at all levels. They were a damn good fighting force, you can rely on. At one point I got a bit concerned that you were going to be squeezed by a truck and something else, they closed in on you and looked very dangerous. Lovely scenery though and yet another interesting video. Thanks Noraly :)
And they are just as good human beings inside out always too..
@@keshavdawra12 I want very much to agree with that, but not all are good. Very few are involved in the grooming gangs you hear about concerning young girls. They have been involved in that. Only a few though. There is good and bad in all don't forget. "People are basically good, its just situations that make some bad" Peter Ustinov. My father would have been furious with me for mentioning this, alas he passed sometime ago, thank goodness, before he could become aware of what is going on generally, he did detest the royal family though, I mean he REALLY did !

Looks like you did some Kamakazii riding today ,crazy traffic, I thought you were going to get squished, I'm glad you made it! I really enjoy your adventures ,never a dull moment,India is an amazing country, incredible scenery Thank you for taking me on your journey❤
I visited Kashmir in August, and I completely agree with you regarding the abundance of trucks on the Jammu-Srinagar highway. It can be quite unnerving when they suddenly encroach into your lane. Additionally, the numerous tunnels along the route are quite an experience, and one of them, if I'm not mistaken, is a staggering nine kilometers long. The journey certainly offers its share of thrills and surprises.
The editing is so good.. even with songs from local region which makes it even more catchy.. all the facts you put are just wow Happy Riding 🤟

Hi Noraly, thanks for a very informative episode again and as always no disappointment there, the traffic is hectic there and at one point with the tractor and trailer i thought that it was going to bump you off the bike but luckily you are a good rider and always alert. My first ever long ride was from Jalandhar to Gurez in Kashmir that I completed last week. The Banihal part of the highway towards Punjab is one of the most risky workplace. My respect to the men who are working day and night to finish the highways and Tunnel.
What an amazing culture I always feel connected to in a special way. The traffic makes adventure riding turn into survival riding. While watching I held my breath several times while you seemed unimpressed or even joking! Amazing !
Thankyou for showing the beauty of our country 🙏🏽. Would like to see you riding through the southern states of India ( Karnataka , Tamil Nadu and Kerala ) .
Thank you so much for sharing your adventures. I still get WOW!! moments every single time - so inspiring to watch.
Hair raising, nailbiting, hilarious, informative and as usual, you just keep on getting better and better at riding and filming. Thank you for showcasing a beautiful culture.
I thought your ride up the Sina Pass was the most hair raising thing I'd ever seen, but that truck, goat clogged road where no one worries about head on collisions, takes the cake! 🤯Stay safe, Noraly, and have fun!

This is quickly becoming my favorite series of videos . So much culture... When I was a Surgery tech I spent a lot of time talking to people because it is so hard to sleep in a hospital . I met people from all over the world and the Indian people were so polite and interesting . I would talk to the spouses and relatives while the patients slept . They were so surprised that I was interested in their culture and religions but I find that fascinating . I also did Home Health and met a few Muslim families too and I would listen to their music and prayers ... It's a shame people can't just allow each other to live in their particular cultures and not fight about it . I pray Israel can find peace and all others . PK
Of course you get a very enthusiastic 'Thumbs Up' from me. If ever I were to visit India, this as well as well as Kashmir would be the regions I would gladly visit. Until then, thank you Noraly for taking us there💖

Seeing this great content has given me flashbacks to a journey in 1985 where unfortunatly Punjab was a restricted area due to the Amritsar conflict. Waiting at Lahore border for the one day opening a month then having our Magic Bus to New Delhi army-escorted through whole Punjab without a halt. In those times Jammu/Kashmir was peaceful and needs no permit to enter and spend holidays in. Stunning is that the traffic seems to not have changed the smallest bit. Those truck and bus drivers risk everything everyday. The sikh are really impressive people! Have fun and stay safe.
Wow. India is just beautiful ❤❤😊

Thank you for helping me get back on the road from Srinagar to Amritsar. We were inspired by your travels that we did a roadtrip for 65 days, all the way from Bangalore, Karnataka and crossed these roads. Drive safe and keep exploring!!
Blessed you are Noraly ! Watching the holy shrine - The Golden Temple , through your cameras was an immense joy. Appreciate your knowledge of local customs wherever you go and really applaud your respect for all the religious places you encounter in your rides. Your pre-ride research is amazing and it seems to be very helpful for you deservingly. As for the ride to Amritsar , your face at the eating joint said it all - lots of traffic fumes and tons of dust along the way. As for the food , it was Mustard leaves cooked in clarified butter- called “Saag” and Corn flour flat bread - called “Maki di roti.”Yummy and nutritious. Glad you enjoyed the Punjabi meal. Very entertaining vlog this , thanks for taking your audience to one of the most benevolent places on this planet and symbol of true human - spirit. Bless you
Saag is officialy made of spinach so Noraly was right about that .But in some cases if there is no spinach around they use other greenleafed vegetables

I'm from Jammu, and recently I visited Kashmir in my car. The journey was quite an adventure, especially on the Ramban-Banihal stretch, which is known for its treacherous conditions. The road is narrow in this area, and the presence of trucks only adds to the challenge. However, there's some hope on the horizon, as construction work is underway to improve this critical route. It's expected that in the near future, the Ramban-Banihal stretch will become safer and more accessible for travelers.
