When my little girl got married - this was the song she picked for the Father Daughter Dance. Now that’s a girl who was raised right.
For Those About to Boss it Out... I Salute You
Possibly my favorite Bruce album. Not one bad song or filler song on it. Each one a masterpiece as much as the next! Also Bruce proves that he’s not just a fantastic singer and lyricist here, but also shows his amazing guitar skills, as I’m pretty sure he plays all the guitars on this album!
Rosalita is just the type of Latino girl that we all love.
Talk about a love song !!!
The BIG MAN Clarence Clemmons ❤
First Song I ever heard from him, that's all it took. Big fan!
Nothing more classic nor appropriate than this song coming on the radio while road tripping it to Long Beach Island with your best friend, fixing to meet up for a summer weekend with the rest of your college clique... So pumped that we were, my bud put the pedal to the metal... and got nailed by a New Jersey State Trooper on the Garden State Parkway! 🤣 FYI, that was just a prelude to the mishegas that was about to occur... lord help us...
50 years to the day that this song was released with the rest of the album! Its Still "Outstandingl!!!"
I dedicate this song to the beautiful and sweet angel named Therese. She has stolen my heart and set my soul on fire in a conflagration more intense than the raging flames of ten thousand suns.😍😍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Yeah my first ever Springsteen album and was instantly a massive believer in this man having the ability to tap into the American youth and write absolutely classic songs
Lawdy miss clawdy this is a great song. Blew me away when I first heard it more than 40yrs ago, and still does. And I ain't no liar. I've seen rock and roll future...
The saxophones, so good
I was surprised when I read the credits that Bruce played all the guitar parts on the whole album. I had no idea.
Great early Springsteen classic....and incredible when it's played in concert
Kralju prelepa pesma. Brus fantastično. 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰.
Probably, realistically, Bruce Springsteen's best album! Carter administration? America, in a way, knew everything it would ever need to know then, the rest is a bit of a hangover!
The Boss never disappoints.
Gotta love that sax part
