As a new player do you think this is worth picking up? I feel like singles or sealed products which have all guaranteed cards like Structure Decks or Duel Devastator is the way to go.
@@chrisgroves8891 for new guys start with 3 structure deck then lol up wich boxes work towards your deck and after that look what boxes you still need to grind for the other staples. After that just buy anything you want for collection purpose lol

The only reason I plan to purchase this particular product as is, is strictly for the reprints that are difficult or expensive for singles. There are enough good reprints to make the risk-reward factor worth it. For me anyway.
Big difference is apparently Konami is saying this set specifically is not short printed and has good pull rates. From the videos I've seen, that's apparently true? The 2022 tins were nuts in terms of what they had, but the pull rate/clumping was dog water.
Beautunaful Princess was about $10 per copy because it has literally one printing, and it was a rare. This was a massive W. This set is beyond insane from top to bottom

I think I freaked out in my group chat overall several reprints throughout the vid LOL. Restrict, Non-Fusion Area, IDP wtf! This set is incredible. Awesome reprints, and could be really cool for budget players/new players to have Striker or Swo Swo playable out of one set basically

In fact, most sets of 2022 were absolutely horrible with regards to QC (short printing, abysmal print quality and waxing, bad card lists, etc). This set legit looks good and doesn't seem short printed. I will have to see after release though. It would be very stupid to believe Konami's words that this set does not have short prints.

Knowing the fact that the swordsoul core, floodgates, HFD, and three good link cards in this set. I’m going on the hunt for this set so I can get my swordsoul deck and my future Tribrigade deck in place!
Would’ve been nice if Droplet was also reprinted in this set especially with how badly Konami ripped players off by short printing it in the mega tin to possibly 1 per case of tins.

I thought we were gonna get a random boogaloo box like GFTP when they announced it was gonna be 100+ card set, but Konami actually put playable cards in here!! (in the OCG it was a smaller set with just witchcrafter, sky striker, mayakashi cards + relinquished)

I've been telling people for months now that somebody at Konami who is a League of Legends fan saw that Sona was 'Maven of the Strings', thought it was a fancy word for 'maiden', and decided to name the loosely-woman-themed set after it. It's the best explanation I have.

Really looking forward to the Mayakashi and Witchcrafters support! A little sad they changed the names of the Witchcrafter cards though. Adding Confession to Confusion was unnecessary and took away from the fusion pun a bit, and Vice-Madame doesn't sound quite as good as Vice-Master. Aww well, still very excited. Wanna see what the Egyptian rare looks like tho.

the set seems confused, noth that I'm complaining, coming back to the game recently a lot of these staples I just dont have. imperm in particular is crazy expensive, you might as well buy the structure deck. I'll probably pick up a box or 2 depending on how expensive they are in Canada, but the rest I'll get in singles. I'll never need to buy extra deck sleeves again tho
