You should totally go for it! I will warn you, when you dilute it down to get the unsaturated gray effect, it does fade sort of fast, but it's something to try :D
I love seeing people with the Transylvania color! Your hair looked great btw. It's really nice shade for people who want fashion colours but don't want something too bold. In the right lighting the dye can be a beautiful blue but can also appear black with a tint. I also noticed it penetrated your hair despite not being extremely lightened so that's always a bonus for people with thinner hair who have trouble with bleach. I had mine in for a month or so before going back to Purple Rain/Virgin Pink.

To me, Transylvania is like the opposite of Arctic Mist as it can deepen a color and bring about a whole new shade just by adding a little bit to the dye. I think that's why I love Arctic Fox so much is that you can basically customize the dye to any shade you want! :)
Nadine Cheri yea exactly! Ever since I started using the color I swear by it now. I've seen so many beautiful combinations by other customers on their fb/insta page. I love the peach tones that people make with pink/sunset orange.

Not sure how it would turn out, cause I don't want crazy bright red hair, but if it ended up being like a deeper red, I might go for it. Last time I had red hair was in like 8th grade or something :P We'll see!
This video was really helpful to me because AF sterling is a little too pale for my taste so I was wondering if I could mix in a teeny bit of Transylvania to make it darker and seeing the mixture you did convinces me that it would probably work. Also "grurple" is my new favorite word 😂 my hair is a pastel grurple right now. Great video, and by the looks of your other videos I'm totally subscribing 😁💖

I mean, it was getting dark and the middle of winter (ever hear of blue hour?), but this is indeed natural lighting with no filters, just me sitting in front of a good ole window. The lighting in my bathroom was super harsh, incandescent lighting. This video is super old, so it's not even relevant anyway. 😆
I would say it was quite dark. And if I would have added more Transylvania it would have been darker. Arctic Fox actually just came out with a color called Sterling, however, they say you're hair has to be extremely light in order to achieve the sterling color. But I'm wondering if it is used on darker hair, if it will just look darker. Let me know what you decide to go with! :)

I've seen a lot of videos and pictures and it's so hard to decide what to use and how much of it to use. I used manic panic when I did purple and it didn't last long. :( When you say really light do you mean for it to show up gray? 😣

Joy Holland I'm thinking if you are going to be using purples and blues then it should cancel out the brassiness. Since I never used this color on bleached hair I really don't know from experience. But the color itself is very pigmented so as long as your hair holds color well, it should cover it fine. Please let me know how it turns out because I'm super curious!!!
Joy Holland oh and make sure to cover your hair with enough color. Because it's bleached it will more than likely Absorb a lot of product. So if the hair isn't coated properly it may end up streaky or have the bleached color Showing through.

I used about a quarter size amount of Transylvania, a whole bottle of Arctic Mist, and then for fun, I just put drops of Purple Rain and Violet Dream in as well. When the color looked a bit dark, I did add a bit of conditioner in. I left it on for a total of 45 minutes I believe. Hope that helps! :)

I really want a dark grey color. Was it fairly dark but still noticeably grey? I am trying to figure what hair dye I should get. 😅

So I'm going to be bleaching my hair and it might be a little brassy. If I put this hair dye over the brassyness will anything be different?
