Everything in Bollywood is inspired from something or the other foreign or old classical. we have our own cultural art but this bollywood style is not Indian. Considering the choreographer of this dance, Remo D’Souza, has said himself that MJ is the biggest inspiration in his choreographies, I would say this particular one is.

Hey Jaby just to let you know that Badtameez Dil dance choreography wasn't inspired by Michael Jackson. It was Ranbir Kapoor's tribute to his great-uncle (grandfather's brother) Shammi Kapoor. Shammi Kapoor was also a famous bollywood filmstar who was heavily inspired by Elvis Presley, he even looked like Elvis Presley as well.

Pavan To you Umm no... but it does mean it’s 99% likely that any choreography that is similar to MJ’s style (as this CLEARLY is, especially the footwork) is due to that inspiration. Did Remo D’Souza also add his own interpretation and unique moves, obviously yes, but you can’t claim these moves were originally from Bollywood. The best would be to call this a Bollywood interpretation of MJ’s style.

Pavan To you And the only step associated with his style isn’t the cross-cross either. His style was a combination of steps that originated in Jazz, Tap, Popping and Locking and even Ballroom. What made it unique was the way in which it was presented, and Remo D’Souza often makes stylistic choices in his choreography that incorporates those elements with similar presentation, as he did in this song. That’s why most people who are MJ fans would recognize this as similar. Maybe you should go learn something before being so uptight and insulting.
The steps for this song were done by Remo D'Souza. He's a really talented choreographer. He's also worked on ABCD and ABCD 2, alongside Prabhu Deva (another famous choreographer)
