  • In air conditioners single head and multi head systems, there is a type of fan motor (5 wires 1 socket type), when fan problem is presented, the testing method as in this video is the best most accurate to troubleshooting a dc fan motor. This superseded all known technique so far have been carrying out from other competitors of Fix2Qik as well as manufacture's trained service personnel.
Commercial and home users are, nowadays, way too smart: Often a fault is recorded and can be read from the controller, especially the motor fault, it's one of the major part. Honest technician knows a smooth talk and hoping for people to buy is realistically out of existence. So to chose dealing toward affordable outcome that coupled with skilled works and complied with regulation as well as keeping customer super happy is the goal for long term business .. as has been always the upmost policy at Fix2Qik That is also conveying within.

Thank you for sharing. Ohm tests of dc fan motors are inaccurate. My sister has a panasonic air conditioner that fan motor didn't work, 2 error codes rechecked (push the "check" button down about 5 seconds until the screen shows the mark - - , then point the controller to the receiver of the air conditioner, now pressing "timer" momentary, until power light flashed and beeping tone heard for the 1st error, continued to press timer button showed the second error. Leave the controller untouching 20 seconds restored its normal opreation ) on the hand controller are: F95 and H97. She and I had wasted money for call-out fees on one electrician and one plumbing company in melbourne (66 and $88 each) who came to tell we need a new air conditioner after showed off the ohm reading of the motor (in the outside head). Eventually there was a hvac specialist came and simply replaced a black - rectangle shape capa part near on top of the electrical board (he called main grid filter pcb), then it has been working again for over a year now. Costing of the repair was only $375, including extra charges $80 for 1 more hour labour for the hvac technician to put everything back as there were many parts disconnected prior to his repair. The Hvac technician came with 2 boxes looked similar as these testers in the video clip, one tested inside, while the other one doing outside test. I write this so people know what to ask for an experienced decency repairer and not wasting time as well as money..

Hello, great video. I am a HVAC technician here in New Zealand and have been searching for a universal test tool just like this for troubleshooting heat pump system / dc fan motors. Any chance you could point me into the right direction? I see a few people on Oz using them. I cannot seem to find them anywhere.

      Hi,
There is no one else has this kind of test kit.
I seen similar video, but not sure how reliable those are regarding real life field-work scenarios.
This kit has been with me on many job sites for years: Reliability, Easy to use, Robust, Light Compact to carry around. Especially the inbuilt protection circuits for the tester itself and the parts under tests.

Then why is it so top-secret? Why can’t you share the schematic?
