Hello My Beautiful People! Welcome back to my garden studio! I just got home from Fluid Art Boutique a few days ago, it was so much fun to meet everyone in person! I really like the look of this piece, its very soft and calming, but with a lot of energy and movement in it. HoA kept saying it looked like a storm brewing, but I saw lots of different things as I was tilting it out. Mostly I love the beautiful Wispy lines and the poufy cloud effect with that gorgeous Amsterdam Bronze peeking thru... very cool stuff!

I love the painting Mina! Reminds me of a supercell cloud with a funnel Cloud in the blue fingerlings kinda look like lightning. I was glad when you took the top of the funnel cloud off it made it look a lot better pretty😅

I love these colors! I have done a few with a similar color palette.
I think the copper got lost because it was next to the white. But still came out very beautiful! I will try these colors and put the copper next to the dark blue.😃

Please, hope you don't mind a question from a beginner - What is the point in pouring from high? Thanks for a great tutorial. Love it!
Height changes can affect how the paint mixes on the canvas. From higher up, it mixes or churns more. It can affect the pattern on the canvas or mix the colors together. You might also get more cells to pop up, since each paint you use might weigh differently, causing the lighter one to rise. Or you could have a more transparent color over a more translucent color.

@@lornapayne2805 it's fun. If you haven't already, check out Gina Deluca's channel. She does a lot of dirty pours, where you pour the paint into the pouring cup in a way that churns it before it makes it to the canvas.

I used to watch you all the time and I've been thinking about you and why I haven't been seeing your videos, yeah life gets in the way sometimes I have a question on the mix for I just got my first order how do you mix your ratios with your paint without using so much of the mix poor where he run out so quick. If I may ask it looks like you're using 16 oz cups just guessing in ounces approximately how much mix or to paint do you use if I may. Thanks again and glad I searched and found you. Love those colors and actually I think I have that set of arteza or say don't put the colors on them now it's a number. Kind of where I guess it's like getting a box of chocolates you never know what you're going to get. Thanks again and hope to hear back from you on the next floor. Stay safe be well God bless
Hi Lisa! I'm so glad you searched and found me again! Please hit that Subscribe button so we don't lose touch! For Mix I usually put about 2 ounces in a 16 oz cup, then add about an ounce of paint, then mix that well. Then I add about 8 to 10 ounces of American Floetrol and stir that all well. That's it 😉 have fun!

The bit where you said you were gonna stop because you could feel us yelling at you to quit messing with it...Um. Accused. I was kinda yelling at the screen for a good 5 minutes when you kept tilting off so much. LOL

Sorry just a quick question in the video you say that you are using the mix as a pouring medium but down on the side panel of the video you have flow troll water and Liquitex plus medium
You are correct, I meant to change it on the screen but forgot. I did use Mix Pour. (Don't edit videos late at night lol)
Im only 2:17 secs in and ive gotta say that Mina using an 18x24 canvas its so funny! Im so used to her using these big canvases that it looks like a 12x16 little baby canvas. Regardless though I know its going to be beautiful as they ALWAYS are … ive yet to be disappointed by miss Mina!
