That happens if you return to the press building after jumping out the window. The moment you leave the room and the camera changes he is right in front of you, just amazingly scary design there. Made worse by the fact that it's a really small space so if you don't realise it's about to happen it shits you up and he immediately hits you.

When you first encounter Nemesis at the RPD and you choose to enter it instead of fighting him and Nemesis is banging on the door... after a little while this music disappears and it turns to silence and you realise Nemesis has also stopped trying to break the door open and it's just quiet. For some reason, that's one of the creepiest moments of the game for me, like where the hell did he go?
Same dude, I love RE1 and RE2 dearly. But RE3 was my fav game of the series because it was the final chapter of the Raccoon city saga in Jill epic final escape, and Nemesis was a worthy antagonists unlike any braindead monsters we have face previously.
It's still there, only that the concept od horror between 1999 and 2020 made drastic changes to the soundtrack. Eventough it's good, it's not memorable as this soundtrack. Just do like and consider Resident Evil 1 HD Remaster as canon and REmake 2 & 3 as *not* canon. Hell, even Survivor 1 is more canon that the remakes.

Therefore, I repeat myself, they're gonna have to do some seriously great job with Nemesis if they make a Remake for RE3 as well. Nemesis NEEDS to be scarier then Mr. X, but I'm not sure they can make him. I'll be glad to be proven wrong, but until then, I'll keep my expectations low.

I remember i was 9 when i first played this and only got until the point in the RPD where Nemesis bursts through the window, shit my pants, got killed by him shortly after he appeared and wasn't allowed to play the game for the next 5 years. And i swear, nemesis gave me anxiety in my childhood, like i wasn't able to walk alone through dark hallways or something, cause i would be too scared, something would chase me.

This is the most terrifying song in the whole series. What doesn't help is that it replaces the calming and soothing save room music if he chased you outside of the room. You feel completely hopeless, feel dread and feel stuck when you hear this song in the save room instead. At least with the save room music, you feel relief and have a moment to relax. Also, the first floor theme in the R.P.D. station suddenly cutting off and playing this song when you hear a window smash from upstairs had me unable to go down the stairs for a while.
I'm honestly praying that they make one helluva job with Nemesis for the Remake. Because they did Mr. X SO WELL in the Remake of RE2 that I'm not sure a new Nemesis would be able to top him! Still hoping I'm wrong, though! I want Nemesis to give me nightmares again!

Ive had a dream i was wondering through my old school hallways and all the lights were off i was alone but this theme was playing in my background although nothing happened but in the dream i was weary kinda panicky looking around. This is a good soundtrack 👌
