The remake wasn't horrible but it had two glaring issues 1 - It was not worth full price it should have been at least 30% cheaper if not 50% another thing they could have done is sell the game as a expansion pack to RE2 Remake which it should be and have it integrate into RE2 Remake. 2 - The Nemesis encounters were scripted events so he only appeared at certain times where in the original game he could till after clock tower appear at random this increased the fear factor of him as you had to plan for the possible chance of him showing up at random. In teh remake he always appears at set times of the game

Operation Mad Jackal was the first "mercenaries" game after beating a game (re2 is more like survive an extra mision). And i feel so bad, they never brought this format to the table again, it was fenomenal, u really could feel the thrill of playing because it was a new challenge (hard IMO). I remember when i saw 2 fucking nemesis in the same screen, i shit myself. I really want these mercenaries again, i want a rmk of re3 but with the same style of camera and stuff.

I'll give props where they're due, the soundtrack, characters, and the hospital are perfect. Nemesis' first form is also genuinely intimidating. I just wish that they would have done more with it. I was expecting more for sure.
