      This is an old comment but I thought it was weird too, here's my take.
      I looked at it further and the plus sign was converted over to a negative (flipped signs on the right), but I guess he just subconsciously/instinctively knew that so he didn't mention it on accident.
      Here's what happened broken down:
      [(n+n)-(n+n)] = [n+n - n-n]
      Hopefully my overly simplified example above makes sense.

  • @APRenz
    @APRenz 9 месяцев назад

    Basically, you increase the operation done on the argument.
    Consider the time (in seconds) increasing as the size of two given objects grow (in liters). For instance, let "A" & "B" be the sizes of the objects, let "10" be the rate in which they grow, and let "log A" and "log B" be time.
    If you are adding the times that the objects took (log A + log B), then you multiply the sizes that it took to get there (log A * B). Similarly, it you wanted to multiply the time the objects took (N log A), then you exponentiate the sizes to match the time (log A ^ n). This works the same way with quotient rule.
    Basically, what I learned was that the amount & time have direct correlation with each other, and the amount is heavily dependent on time. Since the size of the objects is growing so quickly over such little time, simply add seconds to the time would cause the objects' size to be vast.
