this dude does not waste a SECOND of your time, he gets straight to the point and is very precise with what he shows you and when he does, he does not leave you in the dark, once the lesson is over the video is over, I love this dude.
Dude...your teaching style is not even comparable to the teachers at school. I swear i be learnign more in a few min than in +2hrs of class. Thank you sooo much!
My teacher told us about this in class and i didnt understand a thing, but now i do, you do not understand the gratitude i have towards you for this, thank you so much for saving my marks
Thank you. You answered my question right off the bat, after having watched that ad that says, "still looking at RUclips videos from 2006"? LMAO. I needed help rewriting ln(a^3) and you nailed it. 3ln(a). I came across your videos last semester for stats, and have came back ever since. Thanks again, best wishes.
How is it that I was totally lost and angry at the concept days ago and now understand it crystal clear...wh- Great video though. Clear, to the point, and _doable_ .
It's called "working under pressure". When we took these courses, we had to make the grade no matter what. Now, there is no pressure whatsoever and we have all the time in the world.
Thank you for this video. It really helps me a lot to know the properties of logarithms to not only do well in Calc 1 and Calc 2, but also chemistry, as sometimes when you try to balance chemical equations, you may as well use the properties of logarithms to your advantage
You absolutely insane , I didn't understand this in my class ..but am just amazed how the 5 minutes video is worth it better than my 1hour class . Keep up the good work man you are awesome 🤝
Thanks for making this explanatory video. Note that at 0:25 there is a mistake in the audio (and subtitles): It says "log A times log B" but the second "log" is wrong.
Basically, you increase the operation done on the argument. Consider the time (in seconds) increasing as the size of two given objects grow (in liters). For instance, let "A" & "B" be the sizes of the objects, let "10" be the rate in which they grow, and let "log A" and "log B" be time. If you are adding the times that the objects took (log A + log B), then you multiply the sizes that it took to get there (log A * B). Similarly, it you wanted to multiply the time the objects took (N log A), then you exponentiate the sizes to match the time (log A ^ n). This works the same way with quotient rule. Basically, what I learned was that the amount & time have direct correlation with each other, and the amount is heavily dependent on time. Since the size of the objects is growing so quickly over such little time, simply add seconds to the time would cause the objects' size to be vast.
They have made this topic complicated in our book! There are some transformations that happened, something like that. Thanks to this video I can finally move on to our next topic.
This is an old comment but I thought it was weird too, here's my take. I looked at it further and the plus sign was converted over to a negative (flipped signs on the right), but I guess he just subconsciously/instinctively knew that so he didn't mention it on accident. Here's what happened broken down: [(n+n)-(n+n)] = [n+n - n-n] Hopefully my overly simplified example above makes sense.
Is it possible if you could make a few videos going over solving for convergence or divergence of series through calculus (going over the nth term test, basic comparison test, limit comparison test, etc.)?
in last question : 4:52 why " -log 2 (16) " ? Isn't it supposed to be " + log 2 (16) " because " 8*16 = log 2 (8) "+ log 2 (16)" " than it is " 5(7+6-3+4) = 70 " ... not " 5(7+6-3-4) = 30 "

I appreciate u man, ur a life saver. U deserve all the recognition in the world
I'm finishing all calculus videos in this week, not because I like math or I have a test. Because these videos make me love Math

I have a huge respect towards you seeing maths videos even though you have no exams or go to school or homeschooled

once you understand logarithms it makes a lot of sense, but it almost seems impossible without knowing what to do.

log as an operator:
a^x = b
logₐ both sides:
logₐ(a^x) = logₐ(b)
x logₐ(a) = logₐ(b)
x=logₐ(b)
Does such an amazing job unlike my teacher at explaining

Best explanation
in last question : 4:52
why " -log 2 (16) " ?
Isn't it supposed to be " + log 2 (16) "
because " 8*16 = log 2 (8) "+ log 2 (16)" "
than it is " 5(7+6-3+4) = 70 " ... not " 5(7+6-3-4) = 30 "
was very confident till the last example lol

What about fractions??? 1/2 log(6)25+log(6)x=log(6)20????
At 4:50, why did you minus log8 there? I added those logs and got the same thing. Is it because you dsitributed the negative in front?
I want to know why the ones on the denominator has to be negative
