@@Concobbers it accurately adapted Chinese mythology, has awesome smooth gameplay and combat with an in depth level up system where you can pick and choose abilities etc. it's also in a semi-open world with amazing scenery and graphics and exploration. It also sold better than 99% of all games and broke records. Its just a game that does what games are supposed to do well. No right or left wing politics, no forced agendas, just straight up beautiful world building and combat and again, it broke all those records as a single player...that's astonishing.
@@ILoveGrilledCheeseZelda isn't game breaking either. It's a fun game that really amped up what physics based systems can be in an open world but the world was mostly empty, beautiful sure, but still very empty. It also still lacks great boss fights when the combat revolves greatly around it.

You don't need prior knowlege of JTTW to enjoy BMW.... You, of course, will appreciate it 10x more if you know the story and 1000x more if it is your entire childhood.
Part of the problem with the games industry is that a lot of these highly reviewed games are games have high learning curves or complex backstories. Both of which make then sort of not new player friendly. You don't casually jump into WoW, Destiny 2, or even FFVII.

If there are those who do not know, this game is both cheap and has more advanced content than games like Diablo 3 4. The story alone lasts 40 to 60 hours. RPG lovers should not miss this game. We can't even call it a game and it is sold for 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 dollars under the name of a game. Especially the rip-off game companies that require internet are selling us the save file that is not even worth 10 MB for games that should be free. Players are blindly buying these and are doing injustice to the companies that make free games. Platform games like Battle-net are literally exploiting the players. PEO 2 will be released soon but I feel sorry for them because those who pay for online games that should be free are definitely the players who think about their own pleasure. The biggest harm of this is that they are encouraging games that should be free to be paid.
For me its Shadow of the Erdtree and Hellblade 2. Its been such a amazing year for gaming, also can't wait to play Dragon Age The Veilguard, Assassin's Creed Shadows and Stalker 2.
Honestly its started to slow down this year and it sure isn’t. For me, 90s, 00s was the greatest decade for gaming and early 10s was also great even late 10s had great games out there.

Literately Black Myth Wukong is the only one that mattered this year, all others were genuine garbage, really don’t think this company understands how the story it told brought thousands to tears because of how deeply influential those stories have been for billions of people, and up until this game came out, the other billions of people have had no idea about it. It literately achieved the dream of generations of people that was to bring the world of traditional Chinese gods into Western pop culture, the game is not only a master piece because of its quality, but for many it’ll go down as one of the greatest works of story telling in human history because of its achievement in finally introducing westerners to Chinese mythology
