    Kampung Adat is like a tribal land, you got there in the states too. The people there had their own set of laws, independent from the state. Like in my tribal land where my gramp were, outsiders can't buy a land there, so woman from our village can't inherited the land because her husbands and childrens are considered outsiders because they are from different clan.
    I'm from the Batak Toba tribe, from the clan of Hutapea.

      In my tribe, you can't marry into anyone from the same clan, even if you didn't know each other you're still considered families, so it's considered incest.

    candle nuts are toxic when eaten raw, however the toxicity dissipates upon cooking
