It feels like such a waste for it not to be Ywach when it’s the 9th anniversary. But I think it’s a high chance to still be since I think it’s just show the setting of all the battles happening much like the rain in 8th year. You have the ice from toshiro or steel Quincy, you have the broken floor like gremmy fight or kenpachi bs retsu. You see the red skies and the regular buildings, not destroyed. I feel like it all symbolize just the invasion in general and the fights happening much like the 8th. Who actually fought in the rain? White!

Maybe it’s a soul reaper captains summon: the explosion at the start is sajin vs bambi, the slashes and arrows is shinji vs random Quincy when he reversed the Quincy’s perception, and zaraki at the when he broke out of the ground while fighting gremmy?
10:22 the floor that cracks is probably the one when gremmy splits the floor to create the platform in sky. exactly at episode 7, '7:41' in cour 2. I compared that floor as it is somewhat similar the fight of rukia, as nodt happens on a roof 1st then in some kind of alley which is a lot different from the pic shown in trailer.
That was my exact thought too. It's almost 1:1. I could see Kenpachi and Rukia because of the ice and since they're 2 of the biggest highlights in cour 2.

might be a bit of a stretch but in the character list there are two characters that kind of stand out mainly for being "just there" and those two are Gwenael and Berenice and i bring them up because of their connection with Gremmy and Kenpachi. Berenice was a sternritter that Kenpachi effortlessly killed and Gwenael is the fake V sternritter created by Gremmy. Alongside the hints in the teaser like the cracks, the area seeming to be in the sky, these two characters may be a hint towards the anni characters being Gremmy and Kenpachi because these two are probably the least likely to even be considered for a anniversary character let alone a normal character simply because they dont get any screen time and dont really do much
Honestly Rukia, Renji and Kenny would fit really well since these were the three characters this cour with the most in common in regard to progressing with their zanpakutos. Rukia learnt the true power of her shikai and found the name of her bankai, Renji learnt the true name of his bankai, and Kenpachi finally learnt the name of his zanpakuto and awakened his shikai. It would be fitting. (Also I’m lowkey ready to riot at Klab because WHERE IS MY MONSTER AIZEN AND DANGAI ICHIGO BANNER?!)
Honestly, I can see Kenpachi being an Anniversary character but not by himself. However, I CANNOT see Gremmy being an anniversary character. Just doesn’t make sense to me. The last time KLab released an Ichigo remake right before the anniversary, the anniversary character turned out to be a major villain which was 6th Anniversary Aizen. So I hope this would mean that this is Yhwach now.
The trailer reminded me more of Fullbring Bankai vs Ywach (also with it being the 9th anni), but considering, the red sky and that weve just gotten multiple ichigos and a new Ywach, itll probably be someone else. Im thinking maybe Kenpachi from his fight vs Gremmy. The platform looks like the gremmy stage and the floor splitting is literally what gremmy does when fighting Kenpachi. Maybe also Rukia and Renji along with him, all three have massive moments in the anime and all three could use up to date canon characters. The fighting also really does look like its Quincy vs Shinigami attacks, and not just Sword slashes or just arrows. So i feel like it has to be someone who has had a fight in the season.

With the ground opening up, it looks closer to when Gremmy raises the the ground when he initiated the fight Kenny in ep 7 around the 7:30 mark, in the anime at least but i might be crazy. Still looking like Kenny the likely choose from the trailer though

The black slashed might be As Nodt attacks and white slashes might be Rukia's Attacks. Kampachi is probable to come in second part of of the anniversary with gremmy and a third character
Its shinji and sajin for me, as u can see in the first scene the quincies arrows just keeps on criss crossing like shinji vs all the quincies soldiers where he unleashed his bankai. And the second scene its clearly shows the ground getting split apart so definitely it is sajin as during his bankai the ground started to crack like this similarly

For kenny you mentioned the wrong scene cause there is the exact scene of the floor breaking in the trailer in kenny vs gremmy fight, also the explosion early in the trailer might be explosion from gremmy missile

But now I'm thinking it can be Yhwach because the anniversary usually has an original design, and the number 9 is significant to him gaining his powers. If it's 3 person banner then all three. If it's a 1 person banner I suspect it's Kenny and then Rukia and Renji second half. I doubt they will have Sternritters in the banner but if they did it's most likely a Kenny and Gremmy combo.
I installed the game after almost a year of not playing it and I wanna get orbs for the 9th anniversary summons, I already have all 4 starts and bellow maxed out and most my 5 starts to lvl 150, is there any faster way of just playing the story?
kenpachi is a given. but klab would not make it so obvious, so i think klab has a suprise for us. which i think like other people will be a shake up of their usual person A vs person B banners. since the bambis are out of the way during swimsuit. i can see this anni being special and it being a 3 unit banner. this would explain the 4 unit banner last month. imagine a kenpachi, renji, rukia banner for anni part 1 all main units that never got an anni unit and would allow them to cross it off in one go but also a part 2 that would be gremmy, as notd released form and mask de masculin. the three big protagonist of season two and 3 main antagonist. sajin, bambi, shinji as well as giselle, mayuri, (any zombi unit) would be banners after anniversary. what do you guys think...
So I know we're going on the idea that this is season 2 exclusive, but the area in the trailer and the action going on heavily hints towards the fight with Gerard. The first scene shows a frozen over vandenrich and the second shows a more demolished area with a red background. My theory is a bankai kenny and matured bankai toshiro. Possibly a byakuya or Gerard as the 3rd character, if we're subscribing to the idea of 3 characters.
It would be cool for Kenpachi to be one of the anni characters for part one since he hasn’t got a unit released since his canon SAFWY version, also Fullbring Bankai Ichigo for part two of anniversary
Rukia vs As Notd at the Buildings shot, Sajin vs Bambietta in the bombs and arrows shots, and finally thre ground splitting as everyone should guessed Kempachi vs Gremmy fight, So a supposed trio could be Rukia, Sajin and Kenny, or a duo Rukia and Kenpachi that are my bets.
I would say that Rukia is definitely one of the two Anniversary characters. At the very end of the trailer, the text cracks, which could be a sign of Rukia's Bankai. As for the second character, I would guess Renji since they appeared together in the Seireitei.
I might be completely wrong but I do think it might really be gremmy or kenpachi cause I think the ground gave it away. When gremmy and kenpachi fought, gremmy spawned a giant cube that kenpachi cut so i think it might be one of them.

If it's an original form, then it could be some Mastered Bankai Kenpachi in his Red, Demon Oni Form. He could be fighting Yhwach (Soul King- Absorbed) but it Strong Attack version. Not theBrave Battle version. SECOND GUESS: It could be Sternritter C. : Pernida Pernkachass. (Left Hand of the Soul King)......but its a stretch. The fight with him and Mayuri did involve a lot of groundbreaking and cracking pages.
Could be a beyond quincy Yhwach. He could be using the arrows from his first character release, and the sword from the most recent Yhwach. We see quincy explosions from arrows, and I never remember Gremmy using arrows.

I said it before on a different video, my guess is Rukia and Kenpachi. Their fights were the most hype in cour 2, and i think this trailer is hinting towards them. Plus, what better way is there to give us a new broken Rukia and Kenpachi than the anniversary. Plus, the latter hasnt had a new character in over 2 years, and the last Rukia was meh. They will essentially knock out 2 birds with one stone by making Rukia and Kenpachi the anniversary characters. They both deserve it, imo.
We've already wasted our chances of getting Grimmjow on the sixth anniversary. We can't do that again with a guy who is literally the final antagonist of the series. I bet on Ywach in the original design, but at the same time there is a dilemma, who could he be paired with? The only fight he had this season was against Ichibei who is not on this list. In this case, there should be Ichigo who would also have an original design, but unfortunately we already got Mugetsu. And doing things like "Rukia and Renji" or "Zaraki vs Gremy" would be strange because they are just single fights in a season, not a theme. This is the hardest character prediction so far XD
I think almost everything points to the fight between Yuhabaha and Ichigo: 1. The ground is similar to the ground where the fight between Ichigo and Yuha happened. 2. There are explosions in their fight as well. 3. The colors that appear could represent the powers of both characters. Blue (yuhabaha), black (ichigo's reiatsu), white and red (we see mamy different colors when they are fighting) 4. At the end of the trailer, the word may represent Ichigo's zapankutō that broke at the end of the fight. 5. Every 3 years we have a villain. This year could be the perfect time to have a Yuhabaha as the anniversary character.

I installed the game after almost a year of not playing it and I wanna get orbs for the 9th anniversary summons, I already have all 4 starts and bellow maxed out and most my 5 starts to lvl 150, is there any faster way of just playing the story?
kenpachi is a given. but klab would not make it so obvious, so i think klab has a suprise for us. which i think like other people will be a shake up of their usual person A vs person B banners. since the bambis are out of the way during swimsuit. i can see this anni being special and it being a 3 unit banner. this would explain the 4 unit banner last month.
imagine a kenpachi, renji, rukia banner for anni part 1 all main units that never got an anni unit and would allow them to cross it off in one go but also a part 2 that would be gremmy, as notd released form and mask de masculin. the three big protagonist of season two and 3 main antagonist.
sajin, bambi, shinji as well as giselle, mayuri, (any zombi unit) would be banners after anniversary.

So I know we're going on the idea that this is season 2 exclusive, but the area in the trailer and the action going on heavily hints towards the fight with Gerard. The first scene shows a frozen over vandenrich and the second shows a more demolished area with a red background. My theory is a bankai kenny and matured bankai toshiro. Possibly a byakuya or Gerard as the 3rd character, if we're subscribing to the idea of 3 characters.
I mean those "slashes" might be reshi bombs from bambi and hint for giselle with (zombie bambi ).
Maybe it'll be a three character banner? Theme: shinigami counterattacking. So, Rukia, Renji and Kenpachi?

I would say that Rukia is definitely one of the two Anniversary characters. At the very end of the trailer, the text cracks, which could be a sign of Rukia's Bankai. As for the second character, I would guess Renji since they appeared together in the Seireitei.
I might be completely wrong but I do think it might really be gremmy or kenpachi cause I think the ground gave it away. When gremmy and kenpachi fought, gremmy spawned a giant cube that kenpachi cut so i think it might be one of them.
I actually think it might be rukia because in the last scene of the floor cracking it was referring to her -273 c (i forgot if it was this one or the other one)attack where it creates earthquakes

If it's an original form, then it could be some Mastered Bankai Kenpachi in his Red, Demon Oni Form. He could be fighting Yhwach (Soul King- Absorbed) but it Strong Attack version. Not theBrave Battle version. SECOND GUESS: It could be Sternritter C. : Pernida Pernkachass. (Left Hand of the Soul King)......but its a stretch. The fight with him and Mayuri did involve a lot of groundbreaking and cracking pages.
5:20 kinda looks like where Tōshirō and Cang Du fought, a Hollified Bankai Toshiro would be cool but I doubt he is anniversary worthy

I'm gonna cast my vote for Bankai Rukia and Bankai Renji for round 1, and then As Nodt and Mask for round 2.
My bet is on Rukia, because the ground breaking, ice and the ending music that sounds like Senna means her fight against As Nodt.
Could be a beyond quincy Yhwach. He could be using the arrows from his first character release, and the sword from the most recent Yhwach. We see quincy explosions from arrows, and I never remember Gremmy using arrows.
I wonder if they would do non-canon (what if) of tybw characters. What if Kenny fought Ywach?

Edit: Gremmy hasnt gotten a new character in so long and a new nozarashi kenpachi unit would be hype. I remember when that kenpachi was one of the best units all those years ago hahaha
i think the best options are Kenpachi and Rukia, with the hype of TYBW anime return i'd be weird not to bring out Bankai Rukia since its so pretty and popular, but Bankai Rukia might still be part 2.

I said it before on a different video, my guess is Rukia and Kenpachi. Their fights were the most hype in cour 2, and i think this trailer is hinting towards them. Plus, what better way is there to give us a new broken Rukia and Kenpachi than the anniversary. Plus, the latter hasnt had a new character in over 2 years, and the last Rukia was meh. They will essentially knock out 2 birds with one stone by making Rukia and Kenpachi the anniversary characters. They both deserve it, imo.
We've already wasted our chances of getting Grimmjow on the sixth anniversary. We can't do that again with a guy who is literally the final antagonist of the series.
I bet on Ywach in the original design, but at the same time there is a dilemma, who could he be paired with? The only fight he had this season was against Ichibei who is not on this list. In this case, there should be Ichigo who would also have an original design, but unfortunately we already got Mugetsu. And doing things like "Rukia and Renji" or "Zaraki vs Gremy" would be strange because they are just single fights in a season, not a theme.
This is the hardest character prediction so far XD
I think almost everything points to the fight between Yuhabaha and Ichigo:
1. The ground is similar to the ground where the fight between Ichigo and Yuha happened.
2. There are explosions in their fight as well.
3. The colors that appear could represent the powers of both characters. Blue (yuhabaha), black (ichigo's reiatsu), white and red (we see mamy different colors when they are fighting)
4. At the end of the trailer, the word may represent Ichigo's zapankutō that broke at the end of the fight.
5. Every 3 years we have a villain.
This year could be the perfect time to have a Yuhabaha as the anniversary character.
