I heard kasparov comment about this game saying that karpov's confidence started to visibly dwindle after he saw those rooks doubling against him. Great commentary, it's pretty cool to see this game in the light of chess engines as well, that was very enjoyable, thanks for sharing!
30:06 "Nd4 discovered check winning the rook": Brings about a resignation win and is therefore sufficient. But still, why not Ne3 discovered check, double check, fork, winning the queen!?
I didn't even see the rook hanging on e8, but even without this, grabbing a whole rook is better than trading a rook for a queen. Ignoring the rook on e8, if Ne3 then Qe2, and black wins a +4 exhange, instead of grabbing a +5 piece.
taking the rook on e6 on the discovered check is safer than winning the queen because the rook is hanging on e8, is the only reason i find for not taking the queen
You're doing some of your best work at the moment, and that's saying something. Keep it up KC
Great comment. Factual comment. KC know that chess entusiast really appreciate your videos

Thanks for the video. Kasparov is unbelievable.. he forecasts the game miles ahead of the opponent
That g5 pawn move was incredible.
What a fantastic game! So interesting to see the role-reversal, particularly with Kasparov playing such beautiful positional chess.

+wheresmyoldaccount Yes that is winning also - but not ethe engine mentions 43..Rf8 so as not to lose the rook on e8 for technical accuracy

+kingscrusher Ah yes that's the answer. Winning the queen instead could lose the rook and bishop so not as advantageous.

I love it. I'm bad at chess, so I especially like the historic backgrounds you give lol
at 30:05 why not black knight in E3 attacking King and Queen?
Great game but the orgasmic commentary by Kingcrusher made the difference. Excellent work!

I think you’re listening to it wrong if you’re having orgasms because of chess commentary...
Crazy one. Wow!!

thank you very much bro !
KC i like it when ur videos are around 15 mins
+Tagenarine1987 I prefer 10 -12 mins videos BUT this 30+ video is one of his best for sure.
f5 at the right moment and white is completely winning

Wow, what a complex game
