I am impressed!! , 2003 I kayaked a large chuck of the Yukon . Met a group of Canoers who were headed to the Bounty Lakes. Always on my bucket list. Thank you for sharing your trip ❤️👍
@@2ndchancegeorge We've been going there for probably 8+ years and used to have an island on Burntside Lake back in the early 90s through early 2000s. That route is a lot of work, but it's so worth it for the untouched nature, peacefulness, beaty and fishing! If you haven't, go all the way in and camp on Silica Lake. Just hope the campsite is free. It took us about 9-10 hours to get there from the boat launch on the southwest side of Burntside, making only one trip across the Crab Portage from Burntside to Crab. It's the most amazing fishing and pristine campsite I've ever seen/experienced. Also, we go in late July/early August and have had good luck with weather/temps.
Very beautiful lake and area. Wow that wind was crazy, I can’t imagine paddling against something like that, good thing you were on land. Thanks for taking us along.
Lol..we got lucky coming into camp it was blowing from behind us. Still a little sketchy getting to the camp. If we had been an hour later we would have been in some trouble...
Nice video video. I only been on one canoe trip in my life. We paddled up the Umzivubu river in Port St John’s South African. Loved every minute of it. Oh and your the T- shirt is it from Zimbabwe I suspect. Couldn’t see what it said. Stay safe
Seemed like you got your tarp in a twist. Mary would have scolded you, good thing she wasn't around! Did you tell her it was a guys thing and she was not allowed? Did you bring her some fresh fish to pacify her? Stay safe!
Beautiful country with blue water lakes. Thank you for taking us along. Take care.
Yep. Wonderful area. Untouched. Thanks again my friend
