couldn't wear this until I switched to a thinner sole, the ones that come with absolutely squished my feet, swapped to a "Fitsole" from a pair of Nike-runners and now they feel amazing
I’ve skated a pair for almost 6 months😂 shoego it’s mandatory. I went through phases with them, at first I loved them cause they felt like a slim version of a dunk; then they get broken in and start to feel like a good vans shoe but more protective, then I got used to them and been thinking on buying more 😅 Yes impact protection isn’t the best but definitely above average any Vulc and I would describe it like it being like a midrange NB cupsole (while 808 or 1010 being the gold standard for current cup soles)
Yeah dude, I'm usually shoe gooing my shoes almost every 2 weeks just to maintain them . That is definitely a few different emotions with these shoes lol I've heard good things about both of those Tiago shoes! I've tried the Foy 306's and the foot support was worse than these Ishod's lol
I loved these shoes! I had 3 pairs that I skated in a row. I just wish they were lil more bulky/ 1 more layer of suede so they would last longer and slightly wider tho.
@@jouhajohnny Thats how I feel about the Tyshawns, theyre so comfortable but Im debating on either getting the Ishods bc they look sick and theyre only 55 or the newly remastered tyshawns but wait until they go on sale for around 60 .What other shoes do you skate tho?

Oh dude, that's amazing! So it was still tight using the inner eyelets? You should put them in the microwave for 30-60secs, I do that with shies that feel a bit too tight and it loosens up the rubber & glue so it ends up breaking in a little faster and feels a bit more comfortable 👌🏼

HOLY CRAP LITERALLY THE SAME ISSUE WITH MY PREMIUM PAIR !!!! Thank god someone else had the same issue as me. Huge let down because I love the color on the premium that I got but super uncomfortable. The regular Ishod’s are wayyyy more comfortable.
This is great content bro. Just getting back into skating and I'm starting off with some Etnies Marana Michelins which obviously aren't as transparent a shoe as this - the board feel won't be as good but if I cop any primos it's probably not going to smart that much.
Thanks for saying that man! 🙏🏽 Yeah those shoes are supposed to be really supportive and good for skating but I think they are just too big and chunky for my big feet 😅

They fit true to size but are more narrow than usual around the toe and ball of your foot area so I had to lace them up using the inner eyelets to make them a bit more loose and more comfortable
I’m always looking to the weartested Instagram profile and website, and when they show the shoe cut in a half, when the sole is too thin on the heel area i know the shoe it’s not going to be good

I think more shoes should use the shoe lace protector concept. Nowadays my shoelaces rip way before my shoes even start to get a hole
Yeah dude, it sounds so simple but not as many companies do it 🤷🏽♂️

in my experience, using the lace protectors makes the shoes feel tighter, at least with maranas
