    Just bought one of these mowers used. Never had an issue until I lent it out to a friend for 30 minutes. Thanks for the video Ryan! I was planning on replacing a cable until I noticed the damaged belt. Good job with the one arm job.

    Excellent vid. The V-belt busted, but I went ahead and changed the traction belt since I had to take it off anyways. $25 all in and this video saved me time and a lot of money. Thank you!

    I just changed this belt myself, took 20 min. max. My mower is like new as far as the cutting ability. I can plow through high grass now, no problem. THANKS FOR THE VID!!!

    Awesome video! It was exactly what I needed to fix my mower. I love your videos. No stupid comments trying to be funny, goofy music or anything of the sort just straight forward I formation about what is going on in the video.

    Great video! Just a reminder, when engaging blades slowly pull back until the belt catches up to the speed of the motor. This will make the belt last longer 👍

    Just purchased a Timemaster Ryan based on your channel and I couldn’t be happier. I sold my rider last year for a little more exercise and purchased a Honda HRX217. Not only did it take over an hour to mow but the Honda was disappointing in cut quality and starting. When the left side of the handle started to rust badly from sweat it was time to pay a visit to my Toro dealer. Mowing now takes under 40 minutes and I find I’m not dreading the chore nearly as much. The handling and the personal pace system make this mower feel much lighter than it is.
    I do have a few caveats though. When/if the engine dies under load it’s hard to start, when it runs out of gas it’s hard to start. I’m hoping these will work themselves out or I’ll figure out a workaround.
    Thanks again!

    When torquing my sharpened blades down I accidentally somehow got them misaligned where they were not 90° apart from each other so I watched a video on how to correct that and before I put the cover back on, I looked at the drive belt and noticed a big crack in it. Now I have watched your video and have a pretty clear understanding on how to change that belt, but I am also going to change the transmission belt since it is off anyway even though it might be in good enough condition thank you.

    This is why I love my Ego Power+ mower. I hit the reset button recently and killed my lawn to go full KB, but it mows great and super silent with no maintenance :D. It's only a 21" blade, but with the striper attachment i was still able to make a struggling turf look fairly decent. On one battery I was able to mow my 5800 sq/ft twice and each time some of the lines I would have to double up on for the stripe designs. Even the lights on it have come in handy a few times :D

      Sounds like a cool machine! I use this for my lawn business that I started this year as well so kind of have to have gas stuff when it comes to that.

    Were you having any noise coming from the mower upon engaging the blade? I've recently begun to have some squealing noise upon engaging the blades that will go away within 10 seconds or so but recently has begun to take longer and longer to fully go away.

    • @ryanknorrlawncare
      @ryanknorrlawncare  7 лет назад

      Not really when engaging. There's always a little bit of a noise when engaging but it usually goes away very quickly. I was hearing noise when the blades were running and it was kind of a high pitched squeak while mowing.

    An observation and a question; I noticed in another video and this one, You just turned OFF the inline gas valve. What you should be doing is: Always pull the spark plug wire boot anytime you are working around those blades. Now the question, Those blades on this time-master are timed with a clogged belt? I noticed they are not even staggered but in the same line, how much clearance is there tip to tip when in a straight line?

    • @ryanknorrlawncare
      @ryanknorrlawncare  8 лет назад

      Well I was reading a little bit about the common things that need maintenance with this mower and mine is 3 years old now. So it seemed like a good time to do some inspecting.

    Great vid bro that took some time and one handed effort. I was thinking if that is a go pro maybe getting that head gear strap might be easier in the future for ya

    • @ryanknorrlawncare
      @ryanknorrlawncare  8 лет назад

      I actually have one of those but I needed to be able to get the gopro inside of that cavity on the underneath side so you could actually see what was going on. Otherwise yes, good idea on the head gear mount.
