In reference to Yak and Yeti and other Landry’s restaurants on Disney property. We signed up for a Landry’s card for $25 (you get it back as a credit the first time you use your membership). We then purchased a $100 Landry’s gift cards for $80 Sam’s Club. So we got our “credit” off of the bill and then used the gift card to cover the rest!

Going on our trip in November. We are eating lunch at Yak and yeti.This video has great info and emphasis on the best food at animal kingdom.

Wonderful updates and reviews, as usual! Loved the Animal Kingdom from its very beginning. We loved the Flame Tree BBQ (always called it the wall of chicken back then!) Sitting down by the water, having lunch, with a peaceful setting-wonderful memories.
More sit down places for us but I do love Flame Tree and the lower seating areas. I did enjoy sitting there and watching the kites.
Love Yak and Yeti! I highly recommend their Ahi Tuna Nachos.
The Yak and Yeti Tuna Nachos are hands down the best meal on Disney World property!!!
My friend and I went last august and we didn’t have to use the wait list at Nomad! They had a seat for us within minutes!

For me - DAK has TOO much good food if that's possible. I want to eat at all these places...it's SOOO hard to decide. And that's not even considering the snacks and sit down restaurants!

Did the Starbucks in the parks change their policy on using your Starbucks cards? I’ve always paid with my Starbucks card at the locations inside the parks with no problem! Would be a shame if this has changed!
Nope they are mistaken, you are correct.
I believe you can pay with the app, but you can't redeem points in the parks.
