hi Divyansh, really liked the tour ! can you give us an update regarding the scarcity of hostel rooms in iisc? is the situation solved after this newly constructed hostel is operational or there is still some possibility of upcoming students facing the same issues that you faced after joining iisc?
Same concern .. Will all PhD students in the upcoming years be able to get single rooms without hassle ?. Pls answer
Yes, most new graduate students here will probably not have to face hostel shortage problems; these new buildings have enough room to accommodate many students, and I will not worry about the accommodation here being at risk.

Yes, this is mainly for all PG students, including M.Tech, M.Sc, etc

new hostel kinke lia hai and Bsc/B tech ke lia konse hostel hai
UG students have to live in a shared room in the E block for the first two years. From the third year, you will get a single room like this
Yeah 😭😭😭😭. But still it's still nice to mingle with people and make new friends( although I have lost this after jee😅)

This one is for PG students. UG students get single occupancy rooms from their second year onwards.
