Thank you for your kind words. I recently discovered Rachel Portman and am excited to share music composed by a woman! It is gratifying to hear that music which brings me sustenance and comfort is something you also needed to hear. ❤
You play this so beautifully, so movingly. I can visualize the slow feathered flight of the soul, while the mortal threads to this world are gradually disentangled and freed. It is achingly beautiful describing a mortal parting that is mutually awknowledged and accepted between cherished souls even while it is heartbreaking, and despite the deep soul connection that remains eternal, I hear both nature and divine spirit in this harp-like tribute to beloved Susan. This piece embodies love, and every note is a glistening drop of water, a feather or a shimmering star. Ciara Nighean an Fitheach
I’m so touched by these words which capture so accurately my intention in recording this piece: to mourn the loss of Susan, to celebrate all that she meant to me and to honor the eternal connection I believe/hope is true when people we love are no longer in the same realm. I feel so deeply understood, thank you.
Omg Kay, you play BEAUTIFULLY! Thank you for sharing this! 🥰
Thank you! That was beautifully played. Just what I needed to hear.
