My wife played basketball in HS and was pretty dominant. So, naturally, Caitlyn Clark has gained my wife's attention. We tried (huge emphasis on tried) to watch the Fever v Liberty game and it was so awful to watch. I mean, it's no wonder people don't watch the WNBA. The Liberty players were intentionally trying to injure Clark. Which she ultimately ended up leaving the game. The WNBA and all of the players should be kissing her ass for the viewership she's bringing. Which would equate to more pay for all players across the league, over time. I thought watching my 6 year old's team play basketball was brutal. I'm pretty sure he scored more in a game than any 1 of the Liberty players. I don't feel bad now for not supporting that WOKENBA league. Hopefully, Caitlyn walks away and takes the ratings with her. She could make a killing in book deals, endorsements, speeches, and much more just by documenting her experience with racism. Let's call it what it is. It's racism.
