    Hi Christina. Love that tip about getting thicker consistency by letting the paint dry out a little. Wonder if you could use this thicker paint to use with a stencil - would it be raised on surface. Or I could probably use live leaves etc to press a design. ???

    I never get tired of watching you create such beautiful artwork. And I love your style and choice of colours. I wish I had a chandelier to paint now! I’ll have to keep my eyes open for one. But I do have all those glass vases so I’ll have to go try those out. The Annie Sloan paint you use seems to work so well and I really want that pearlescent glaze. Not sure where I can get her products, I’ll have to research that. But I have looked for those short handled chippy brushes that you use and I’ve been unable to find them. Could you tell me where you got yours? And also that little wax brush that you used for the dark wax, where can I find one of those? Once again, thanks for sharing your talent with us!!

    You always have such beautiful items! Just a hint when painting a vase put a plastic grocery bag over your hand and you won't get any paint on yourself.

    Have you ever partially painted metal to expose the base color? I have a gold trundle bed and want to create a patina look on it but not sure if that calls for a glaze or a wax? A dry crush or a rag technique to add layers? There is a little bit of natural patina there but it "looks" more like a rust or something less beautiful so I want to enhance it. If you have any exposed metal projects, please share tips! Thanks.

    Question… I am going to paint the zinc came around a stained glass piece with black chalk paint. The question is, do I need to use a special wax on the chalk paint? I typically use a carnauba wax on my solder lines. Would that be appropriate for the chalk painted zinc came? Thanks!

    I went out and bought everything to do the glass.However I also bought bonding agent.Do I really need to use that? I did the mold today and letting it air dry over night .Just wondering if I need the paint to dry out and harden if using bonding agent? I'm very l excited to see how it turns out! Thank you so much for the inspiration!

      Hi Kim! Yes let it dry first and then add the bonding agent to adhere the paper clay. I hope it works! Love to see some photos!!! See you this Saturday morning for my next tutorial! 🎨🙏❤️

    These are beautiful. What grade of steel wool did you use? If you said it I missed it😉

    • @TheReclaimedHeirloom
      @TheReclaimedHeirloom  4 года назад

      Knot Your Granny Square ... thank you so much so your kind words 🙏💙
      The steel wool is a 0000 fine grit, it is sold on amazon and Home Depot etc.
      You can use a slightly higher grit but I try to eliminate any sand marks. Hope this helps 🤗

    Oh!..lol...i have that Exact same chandelier!..You did such a Beautiful Job!....mine, i took it down...painted it dark wine red..then sprayed Multiple layers of high metallic copper = Such a Deep vibrating copper, from that dark red undercoat! i'm wondering..should i do a clear coat of something over it?..or..will that kill the gleam?...& those glass shades..were a Huge Nope for me too..so...i found some large candelabra bulbs....& it still felt undressed..so..i bought some glass crystals...and attached them as on other crystal chandeliers...& wow.....so happy with it...now..scrolling back up to see what else you are doing...lol
