    This is the best video I’ve found on the topic so far and I’m glad it’s coming from Africa since I’m Congolese. I study urban planning in Canada but just added a GIS minor to my degree so wanted to know more about what the options and opportunities are.

      Hi Kamohelo. Not necessarily no, you need Maths and science if you'll enroll into a BSc field.
      So luckily GiS is available in BA courses under Geography. Whereby you don't need Maths and science as a prerequisite.

    Can you become gis analyst if you took geography and CAT in high school?

    • @sibusisombonambi726
      @sibusisombonambi726  3 года назад +1

      In High school you probably didn't use the GIS application softwares and applied it to solve problems. You just have a the basic understanding of what it does. So you need a tertiary qualification to have the application knowledge of it. Then you can specialize and become a GIS analyst. I hope that makes sense

    At least in the US, companies will offer - for someone already with a degree - less than what a waiter makes waiting on tables. Come one - give yourself some value and don't accept these jobs.
