She is absolutely one of the best stage performers alive.

I performed with her as young Tulsa when it was at the curve and she was so inspiring, kind and immensely talented. A true musical theatre legend

The ending brought me to tears. Rose finally gets to hear the applause for herself. For her.

It's the first time I recall Rose being played by someone who is known as a dancer. Although, I know Vicki Lewis has played the part, and possible Donna McKencknie. The body language is different and creates a whole new dimension to Rose and the song.

Caroline added a lot of likeability to Rose. As someone who's struggling to make it on stage I have Rose's Turn breakdowns frequently

Divine. Reminds me of my favorite Rose, the late Delores Gray who also played this number as though she was genuinely losing her mind....at least momentarily. Great ending.

There’s a certain Judy Garland quality about her. I’d love to see her do this role!!

Vocally she's there. But whoever directed her (or didn't), has made this performance static and dissappointing. To stand in the same spot for all that time at the start is an F minus in Directing 101. Movement and song, especially in this piece, go hand in hand and they feed off each other. If she had moved at the get go, her performace would have gone thru the roof.

I disagree. I like it. Rose is not supposed to be talented, and most productions have her moving all over the place. I like the awkwardness here.

I absolutely love O'Connor but in this number it seems like everything was planned out, separate from the lyrics and their meaning, and over-rehearsed or, maybe, overperformed.
