I'm so used to Tim being the punchline that this sketch threw me for a loop, as it does every time he shifts roles. That is what always impresses me about every sketch, especially in season 2. He has set an expectation and he knows it and part of his gift with sketches is making the payoff so far beyond the expectation.
Definitely one of my favorite sketches. But reading everyones comments makes me smile bc there are many people who appreciate tiny nuances in comedy, which i think elevates the sketch. Many larger shows wouldn’t care to put in little details like ITYSL does.
