In my opinion I believe the crappie aren't exactly sure how fast that bait is traveling. When you have a jig on slow retrieve they can see it exactly how it is moving and they gulp it accordingly but I believe the flash of that spinner blade throws them off a little and makes them think it's moving faster than it is and that's why they thump it hard. Just a thought. Every year this time I hate being stuck up here in Puget Sound because it's crappie season now back home in Tennessee and I would be hitting Watts Bar, Ft. Loudon, Douglas, and Norris Lakes for those _FabulousSpringCrappie™._ Richard is right, folks. Ain't nothing like it. Thanks so much, Richard. I can't go myself but I can go with you and it's a lot of fun, second to none.
I don’t normally comment but I have to say Mr. Gene, you are by far my favorite creator on this platform. So much knowledge, and so calm all the time. Keep up the good work man
WOOOOOO! I WAS WATCHING ONE OF MY OTHER TOP FIVE FISHING RUclipsRS THIS WEEK, AND THEY HAD A TRAVELING TACKLE BOX. To be used, passed along and added to with some of their favorites. Richard Gene The Fishing Machine, was mentioned more than a few times.
