I owe Richard tremendously for being my mentor as a teenager in high school. I learned how to do custom suspension work, mainly hydraulics from Richard at Fine Tune Automotive still my favorite job I’ve ever had. Thanks Richard

This reminded me of the first real low rider I ever saw. It was 1969 I was working at a Mobil filling station on Fremont & Mission in So. Pas. This dude Angelo came in to visit my Brother in Law who was the mechanic. He was driving a 62 Impala, white with red interior. He opened the trunk and what I saw blew my mind. I had never seen a trunk full of batteries before, and didn’t understand it.
