Some Goodwill stores kind of got boycotted after they refused to give a police officer a pair of flip-flops for a homeless guy. It was on video, and rather pathetic...they called a manager out and it was an ordeal. The officer did end up paying for them, but it was ridiculous considering everything Goodwill RE-sells is DONATED...free stock for their stores!! Giving a homeless guy a pair of flip-flops seemed truly petty. They've also been marking up their USED stuff to the point where I'd rather spend a bit more and get brand new. My Goodwill was one that closed...and we really need one in this area.

I am having the hardest time with my weight😢 i have over 8 hernia’s and need surgery BUT- The surgeon told me I have to loose at least 30-40 lbs before he’ll do my surgery. It’s been terrible plus im my hubby’s care giver, Depression has been a lot. I hope my question wasn’t overstepping. I just love you guys💝♥️

Ya it’s pretty wild, their mission as they say is not to help people in need but to fund their own job program. That’s why they won’t help people.
