I did that with my samurai for a few years. Also did a lot of 6 to 7k clutch dumps and would smoke the clutch all the time pulling people out of stuff. Still have it and only had to replace the clutch once after I decided to take care of it and cherish it lol bought a second to give hell to

Umm... that really doesn't make any sense, honestly... There was no rust on the Titanic when it sank since it was young and only on its maide voyage, and no rust on it even now... Iron oxide (rust) requires high oxygen concentrations to form, which is not the case a mile under the ocean. Js lmao

If I may share a story of my own when it comes to my experience with my parents vehicles. When I was 4 or 5 years old, now granted I was a toddler so I vaguely remember how old I was when this happen, I remembered my dad owning a 1997 green GMC sierra pick up truck. It was a very rusted truck from the outside but very clean and tidy from the inside. It Made you forget that you were riding on a bucket of bolts barely holding themselves together for dear life.
Now, at this time period I was living in Kansas, so the roads there were very open, very rural. Speed limits were… probably very fast! I can’t remember. Well, on a particular day, as my dad and I went to the nearest town to get some supplies I’ve noticed my door wasn’t closed. I get some flashback of my family member opening his door and then slamming shut as he was driving.
So I said screw it, I wanna try that cool trick with opening and closing my door shut while the car is in motion! So I did… it was the most instant regret I had in my entire toddler years!! My seatbelt undid itself, guessing it was not clicked all the way, and my entire body came out of the car!! I was clutching onto the door handle for my dear 4… 5 year old life! I feel the tips of my shoes scraping against concrete! Of course, my father saw this shit show, and pulled over while I was still clinging. Ha, I can imagine the looks of people passing by seeing a toddler getting their feet dragged around on concrete. Well safe to say I ended up getting a phobia on closing my door while in motion. So if I don’t close my door all the way while driving, I will pull over and close it correctly.
How did you get pulled out of the car? I open and close my door all the time while I'm driving.. if I need to.

A hilarious story sent to me by my youngest son. He hated my 2005 Sunfire that was rattling and dented from deer strikes.
My mother had a shitty van that I drove around when I was a teen. I remember going down Main Street once and the brakes stopped working. But the weirdest part was when you signalled right, it usually signalled left instead. Made for some interesting interactions. My friends called it “the boat” because the turning on it was so bad when you took a corner you felt the rocking in a boat. Good times
My first car was a 1991 dodge Daytona. Only good part about that car was the pop up freaking head lights lol.

He may have had moments when he was happy such as his childhood, his marriage, the birth of his children Danielle and Tyler, the marriage of his son, and the birth of his grandchildren. I am pretty sure that deep down Kenny which is the name of Tylers dad loves his wife and children and grandchildren very much. Plus my dad isn’t always angry.

I can relate to the door randomly opening. I had a K-Car where the drivers side door wouldn't stay closed in the winter time. I had to use a hockey stick to keep it closed.

Its amazing how these shows reflect me when I was younger. I use to call one of my Dad's cars "the brown turd" because it was poop brown and 1980s Buick lol.
My mom's car growing up we called 'The Rust Bucket'. It finally died when I was in middle school. It was years later before it even occurred to me that car once had paint (which turned out to be gray), bc it didn't have a speck left on it. I always thought it was brown growing up bc it was practically made of rust. Pure exterior of brown flaky rust.

First car my dad had when I was born until I was about 7 or 8 was a triumph dolomite 1500 from about 1979. White with a black vinyl roof, small black lip spoiler, black pepper pot type alloys and twin upswept chrome exhausts.
Interior was black leather seats with a chrome on wood dash and an alloy (and i think part wood) steering wheel.
After that it was a 1.3 vauxhall astra..

Well. I guess I am “That dad”. From 2011 till 2019, I owned a 1990 Geo Metro,...that I purchased for $500. It had a 1 liter, 3 cylinder engine, with NO AIR! (We live in Az). Not to mention, the paint was horrible, and it looked like a big roller skate. I picked up my children from school in that car, probably hundreds of times. And like you see in the movies, my children literally ducked down as we were leaving so they wouldn’t be seen in that car😀.
I sold that car in 2019 for the exact amount I paid in 2011😀. Believe it or not, my phone was blowing up all day with people wanting to buy that car😀😀.

I'd call BS if I didn't know people who do the exact same thing, sometimes you get real lucky with a shit bucket. My family bought this grey rat of a car back when we lived up in Canada, the thing would NOT work in summer, it would overhead, poop itself and die. However, it was the only car on our block that ran without ANY problems in winter, never failed to turn on.
