I’m Canadian (23 male) trying to purchase a house here. I’ve looked at Sandy Bay and like the houses. I work in Canada may to December so want a place I can go to during the off months. Is there anything I should be aware of when looking at these homes. Are they really 200-300k? In a liveable condition? I work in archaeology and as a diver. Is it possible I could live and work here?
Nice, lots of season neighbors. Watch the neighbors around you, there are many good ones but I would really watch for foot traffic near La colonia. Security will be a big priority since you aren’t there all of the time. A competent agent can elaborate. My door is always open lauren@luxco.life

I lived about 20 years in sandy bay . In security issues was not that bad then but I’ve heard a few negative things about it but I do want to get back I just bought 276 square meters of land the tile is still in process I only paid 22,000 it is located in Corozal about two blocks from the beach it’s a flat surface very nice area not that many houses around can’t wait to save at least 30,000 to build myself a beautiful house or apts for rent for a little extra cash

Yes, always jobs for cooks but the wages are around $30/day unless you cater or own your own restaurant.
