Founded in 1984, Ando Drom (“on the road" in the Romany language) is a gipsy music ensemble from Hungary, which have devoted themselves to the preservation and continued evolution of the traditional music of their culture. Listening to their music, you "feel like dancing around a crackling fire on the earthen ground, dancing away the cold evening breeze with the starlight on my head, shooing away the sorrow of how to find tomorrow's bread".

I have this on loop atm and being of greek descent I find the melodies especially resonant. I also love the image and you can see by their faces that these people originally came from northern India. More right to be called "aryan" (if applicable) than just about any other folk, I deem. French electronic duo The Blaze made an amazing video to a song they wrote about loss "Queens". It features two gypsy girls who have a shared affinity and it shares us their special bond as they live their lives amongst a gypsy community, I am not sure where. I encourage viewers to perhaps watch this *after* they have finished enjoying taking in this little gem here 💙:
