Installing GTX 1650 Low Profile on Thinkcentre M920 SFF
*after i upload this video I just realize that the cut could be less, only cut the wallside (vertical side), no need the horizontal (horizontal side).
so the top side of GPU will still covered with the bracket.. 😊
At 3:48 the cutting should allow for greater clearance, if the case is bumped during operation the gpu circuitry could make contact with the steel case and cause an electrical short.

Cool, I had a m900 with a Geforce 1050ti LP and recently purchased an M920s, to my disappointment, I couldn't put the 1050ti on it and had to put a "modest" 1030. I will take courage to cut the case and put my 1050ti that is in the m900.

Hei! did anyone have issues with power? I have a m900 sff i7-6700 and Quadro card and they max at 150 watts when I stressed them both at the same time.
Pretty sure the psu will handle some extra power but will totally be maxed! not sure if i want to do that. what do you think?

Bro! is a great custom! good job! but i advice you try find a power suply with 500 or 600 watts in the future for avoid surprises, besides... with more power you can get more HHDs !

Second problem is to update PSU. I have old one good PSU BeQuiet TFX Power 2 300w but !!!! - it can't be instal in my M910s (can't fits there).

this PC was so space constrained that I even need to bend that drive bay bracket a little bit just to fit the quadro p620 Graphics card. that gpu length is 145mm on the paper.

Great upgrade, Could you tell me, what Is the power supply of your PC?
These come with a 210w standard.
Did you have any problem with metal filings causing a short or other issue on inside of the case? Did you vacuum it after or blow it out with compressed air?
What else can you do really, if they make it too tight for a decent card ;)
I think Lenovo needs to think about it and make a product, does it make sense to upgrade the graphics card and cut the computer with a grinder?
I had Thinkcentre M910S, and installing NVIDIA GT 1030, I also need to cut the steel frame to put my GT 1030 to its slot. working well but I can not install my 3,5 HDD Drive, so I replace with 2,5 inch HDD.
Managed to do similar with a Lenovo 720s and Nvidia a2000. Sadly the card must have been used for mining as the fan was worn and noisy 😢

@@bugisuhana1365 yes, before using Thinkcentre M910S, I used my GT 1030 to dell optiplex SFF and it can be installed easily.

Turn off intel turbo boost in the bios, much more stable fps, power consumption lower 10-20w. Turbo boost helps nothing, maybe little more on max fps.
