Thank you for this video. Very helpful. Question... my ceiling is 9' high so would a 9' pole work or would I need a bit extra for a more secure fit? Also which pole would you recommend for a beginner just working out at home that's good, strong, and safe? I'd want it to be able to handle 200lbs or more so there'd be no concern if friends use it.
You're welcome : ) If it's exactly 9ft, it will fit but it can't be even 1/4" over that. If you want a more secure fit, you could always get the 500mm extension, here is the link: www.polefitnessdancingshop.com/product/500mm-no-brand-dance-pole-extension-45mm/ As far as getting a pole to hold heavier body weights, that is a common concern and there is an article written about it that will help you here: polefitnessdancing.com/pole-fitness-safety-tips-for-full-figured-women-and-heavier-men/ Hope that helps : )

Hi Im 15 years retired but i must confess I LOVED IT. Can your poles with stand being climbed on, pulled on & flipped on without busting my butt or face lol im outta practice
Yes, you sure can! When taking the measurement between the ceiling and the floor remember to add about an inch to account for the compression into the carpet. We are looking to sell our home and "rent" so that we can get out from under a Payment and being locked into living in one place for longer periods of time.....mainly to get out of the stress of owning. We bought our home 10years ago and have done nothing for 10 years XCEPT For Yard work, home repairs, water, roof etc.....very costly and stressful ...Any way, my point is that can you put up a pole in a rental and then take it down without any real permanent damages? We own a Construction company so we can cover things pretty easily and more than your average person, the problem is when My husband is not working the LAST thing he wants to do at home is any type of "Work" as in construction or repairs! lol...I would like to get into pole dancing for exercise and in particular for flexibility! Ty!

Not sure if I'll get a reply but I am buying a new house soon and am wanting to set up a pole room just for myself. My question is, how wide should the room be? I am 5' 2" and want enough room to not hit anything. Or if you know of any videos or articles that would help me that would be great :)
Congrats on the house shopping! Fun times! Here is a great article that talks about the right spacing and how to get your pole room set up: polefitnessdancing.com/setting-up-a-dance-pole-a-pole-dancing-workout-space-in-your-home/
It's only available in chrome at this time and it is 45mm. We are debating on adding a gold and silicone version in the future, we just aren't sure how popular it would be : )
Depends on the brand of the dance pole, they all have different dome sizes. You can read about the various dance pole brands in detail in this article: polefitnessdancing.com/best-dance-poles-to-buy-for-home-use-buyers-guide/
I teach both static and spinning :) Most of the lessons can be done either way and it is up to your discretion how you want to dance (according to your own fitness level) Hope that helps!
Actually, there are a lot of good options for dance poles that are both static and spinning. Lupit has the very best bearings for the smoothest spinning, X Pole is great too, as well as the PDF Pro Quality Pole. Here is a link to an article that goes into depth about learning on spinning and static poles: polefitnessdancing.com/learning-to-dance-on-a-spinning-or-static-dance-pole/ Hopefully that will help you pick a good one for you : )

Yes, you can install all the brands (and Pro Quality No Brand Pole) sold in my shop on carpet just fine : ) I have my pole installed on carpet right now in my house.
how do you find out the size of the extensions for the beginners pole I purchased mines from your site it's the no name brand pole my ceiling is highly high and I'm having difficulty figuring out the size of the pole and what size extensions I need ...I just need it for the height
Yes there are extensions for various ceiling heights. Here is a size chart for the pole extensions: polefitnessdancingshop.com/product/500mm-no-brand-dance-pole-extension-45mm/
lovely jay that's exactly why I'm here besides lessons.. My bf ceiling is 12 ft high and i need to know what i need to extend my 9ft high pole i have already.
Pole Fitness Dancing so the Xpole would be great for purchaseing if i need a pole for a 12 ft high ceiling. Or do i just need extensions for my 9ft pole i already have? If so do i order from the link above?
They are all available in spinning :) This particular model I talk about in the video that is a spinning pole can be found here: polefitnessdancingshop.com/product/affordable-no-brand-removeable-45mm-chrome-dance-pole-kit/

+Pole Fitness Dancing thanks so much! I've heard so much about x pole but for what I'm doing and because I will be taking the pole down quite often I think the pliable rubber done that's larger will be better. Do you agree?
In regards to quality, the no name brand poles you sell are ( I assume pressure mounted) . I use to have the cheap pole with lights from Spencer's and while it was cute I was horrified to actually play on it. The safety factor between these poles and the one you sell is the huge dome piece right? Is that what actually makes it more safer and sturdier in terms of a pressure mounted pole?
Nikita Corbin Yah that Spencers pole is very cheap and scary .... I recently bought a purple one and I plan to do a review on that one too..... The one I sell does have an extra wide dome, there are many poles with domes including X Poles and other no brand poles so the dome is a popular feature to increase the safety of a portable dance pole, however, the dome still needs to be constructed well with good rubber. If the rubber slides or is lacking in softness, then the dome isn't safe no matter how wide it is. Hope that helps. There are many factors that make the pole more safer and sturdier in terms of the pressure mounted poles (AKA portable poles) - a good dome is one of the many features.
Hi Nora, Just a little side note, that I do prefer orders to be placed in my shop because Ebay charges me a HUGE selling fee, however, if you Ebay is your preference, by all means you are welcome to order there as well. We only charge about $80 for shipping for Canada, which is still expensive in my opinion. It used to be a LOT cheaper but when Trump took office, he jacked up all the shipping fees for all Canadians. I don't agree or like it, but Im stuck with UPS rates : ( So sorry girl, I would feel the same in your shoes.
Excellent video, very informative and helpful. I will be purchasing from you soon!
