    Awesome conversion, and great video. I'm a 30+ avid rider. This is one of the best I seen for my taste. Made me want to combine my Stataoliner and Goldwing together. Thank you Sir for the video, I enjoyed it. And I tip my hat to a job well done!!

    I know is a year old video, but I will say that this is one of the most beautiful professional conversions that I have ever seen.
    If you pause the video and looking by square frame, every single detail is just magnificent.
    I’m curious to know a reference price for the whole thing.
    This is a forever keeper motorcycle, hope you never get rid off.

      Thank you i really appreciate the complement. Unfortunately i sold the bike. i owned the bike a long time and just before i sold it i changed it over. i will be working on a new project as of December and will post. Thanks again

The guy i sold it to only re-sold it for a flip. he told me he always wanted a Road Glide and he couldnt afford one so i bought his crap and sold it to him inexpensively. Oh well i learned the hard way. on the other hand the Midnight is a great bike also very customizable

    Love it! Can you show or explain how the fairing is mounted?

      Thank you Unfortunately i sold this bike 3 years ago and i cant get you any pix. but the faring was mounted to the frame just in front of the tank. i bolted it to the frame then mounted the fairing to this fabricated mounting bracket. i supported the fairing to the crash bars as well for more support. But if i do have any picks of the fairing mount i will update this post for you

      Ok, I'd appreciate any info you can share. What year road glide did it fit? I've seen a couple with 98-13 fairing, but I'm wondering if it even matters as long as the mount matches.

      This is a 2001 Roadstar. The mount was pretty much universal. I'll try to get some pics soon

    Would you have any pictures of the conversation or videos? Have almost everything to do a conversion on a royal star but keep looking at the mount for the frame to adapt the Harley bracket

      The faring mount i grabbed from a metal fabricator on Facebook. He made one for his Roadstar and I asked if he would sell me one. that's how I received one. As for pictures i do have some.

      71skullman I have spoken to the man on Facebook and he quit making them. Am trying to mount on a Yamaha royal star, same type of bike but mount might be different. Any pictures of your build would be appreciated.

      I am not 100% sure what Year and Model the Cowl was. a friend gave i to me and i made it work.

    I'm going to get them all mad putting a road glide fairing on my Indian. I'd love to of you have any tips, suggestions, or etc...
    Beautiful bike man. I like anything unigue but especially when it's well done.

      Have fun! creating what you like. i love the ay this bike turned out. I had Harley guys do a double take. When building this bike i just went with the Road Glide as reference and built it as i saw it.

    Did you just splice the wire connections together what was the wiring process like?

      @cobybooth1841 All wiring stayed stock with the exception of adding the Tach and stereo.

      @@arseniosantiago7879 its a Bassani Exhaust i just cut the tips and welded larger ones on for the look and to fill the space in the bag

      No the fairing didnt move at all it was attached by 4 bolts on the top straight to the frame then two more to the crash bars.

      I have factory mounts and have a welder going to fab up mounts on the frame after I make a template.

      @@71skullman I have a 2005 Yamaha Road star midnight Silverado and I’m trying to do what you did. Do you happen to remember where you got all the part for your conversion?

      @@timothystelmaszek2964 Most of the parts are old Harley Davidson parts off Ebay. I had the Faring mount made by a guy on Facebook. But he no longer makes it. You can Check out sscustomcycle.com for some of the bracket's and air cleaner wheels handlebars and pipes. im not sure if they are still producing them. My suggestion would be to make the brackets your self you can buy Harley Bag Brackets and Mod them to work with your Bike. same with the Tour Pack. There is really no instructions on How to build a Conversion bike. Have Fun Good Luck

      @@timothystelmaszek2964 If you Go to sscustomcycle.com under Yamaha then Roadstar you will find some of the parts i used on Page 2 you will see My Roadstar with the Bags i used for the build (this was the beginning) aslo in page 2 are the Handlebars on page 3 is the carb on page 6 are the mirrors on page 9 is the seat i hope this help

    Where did you get the front fairing, I was thinking about putting one on my 2000 roadstar so I can listen to music and keep the wind out my eyes. Looks great man, just as American as a new harley!

      Hey bud thank you. It's ts a real Harley Fairing I just adapted it to the frame with a mount I got from another guy on Facebook who also made the conversion. Unfortunately he dosnt make the mount anymore.

      @@71skullman I found a company that builds fairings for them with speakers and a radio included, costs $600 if I recall correctly. Got lucky with my roadstar as it was only 1k and has 2k miles, just painted the exhaust flat black and it looks great! Thanks for the reply!

      @@71skullman He probably got some serious Hate for making the mount , because it's harley fairing mounted on a metric cruiser , and we all know that there are " Some " people that ride Harleys only , that can seemingly " Persuade" people that there are certain things that are not acceptable , if you catch my drift 🤔

      Hey man the front Wheel was from Fat Daddy they do not make them anymore I had it specifically made to fit the road star new laced up with Yamaha Hubs.

    What do you need to do to conversion

      Hello David you will need off a Harley the Front fairing and the rear tour pack 9theses are stock you can buy after market but stock it stronger)
      as for the saddle bags there is a Road star set you can purchase as well as the front and rear fenders. i also bought the tank canard to give the original tank some length and to fatten it up. Yamaha also sells the crash bars but i had a set of Harley ones that i made brackets for it to fit the Yamaha frame. you will also need to make a faring bracket to mount to the frame to connect the faring to. the guy i got mine from no longer makes them. then the rest exhaust, air cleaner, stereo handlebars is all up to your taste

    Amazing look!
    Could you please share how you made right lower to not hit the front exhaust pipe?
    I know two roadstars with harley lowers:
    - my one (ruclips.net/video/9NsAFyQlDf8/видео.html)
    - and this guy (ruclips.net/video/O7NfFeP8l54/видео.html).
    Both of us faced the same problem at some point and both of us solved it by moving whole crashbar approx. 5cm forward.
    What's your case?
