Saved my life. When I was learning to walk again, it was your voice I heard over the therapist's. You SAM, saved a life. You SAM encouraged someone to walk again. You SAM are a superhero.
I know how important athlete support is, and I wish I could show your story to many in the performance sector, Sam. Thank you for sharing. So glad to hear you had the support from the EIS still, and there was a doctor who was able to recognise and that you were still able to have support covered (mostly..). It's difficult not to be teary watching this, just so very relieved that you had your brother and family to be able to talk to. It sounds like you have a very good understanding of yourself, and that will always serve well, for any and everything that is to come. You are a good soul, Sam and that is what the world needs many more of. Sending the very best.
