I was only 10 when Mj died but i remember it hit me and my family like we lost a family member. He had an unbelievable impact on people of all ages, he was one of those few superstars that transcended their era. truly a timeless artist

I attended this very concert in London and I was 3 rows from the front stage. It was electric and mesmerising watching him for the first time live and up close. What I will say is that his vocals were not the same compared to the start of the Bad world tour. Hands down the best performance of Human Nature still remains the Yokohama concert. Listen to this version and you will notice a huge difference in MJ vocals.

Great reaction! This is probably one of my favorite songs of his. I will always regret not seeing him live either, although I did manage to go to Neverland once. He wasn’t there but it was a visit I’ll never forget.

Fun fact, this song was written by Toto.. Quincy Jones would get the guys from Toto to send over some musical ideas and Steve Porcaro had an idea for "Human Nature" based on an instance his daughter had with a bully.. what happened was that the same analog tape they sent Quincy with their usual ideas had human nature on the backside and Quincy Jones just so happened to play that one first.. By pure accident, Steve never planned on sending them that. But Quincy called Steve and asked if they could do something with it to which Steve agreed.

There is absolutely no emotion in this interpretation. He can't help but do all of his ridiculous and immature gestures over and over. In some of his numbers they were entertaining. But here it's completely off and a total waste of John Bettis and Steve Porcaro's beautiful song. MJ was just an entertaining machine.
