There’s still no other artist that has reached MJ’s level of success and fame. He even surpassed The Beatles and Elvis. MJ’s influence on pop culture (he even like invented pop culture) and the world through his music and philanthropy still resonates to this day. There will never be another like him.

Great reaction and comments in the end.
His autopsy report indeed confirmed he had Vitiligo and he still had dark spots on his torso and legs. So he was most definitely not “bleached!” What he used to lighten his skin-and what was found in his house when he died- was a cream called Benoquin. It is only prescribed for Vitiligo patient’s only. Because if you try to use it without having Vitiligo you will get serious burns and damage to your skin. Benoquin cream by the way is not a cosmetic bleach. FYI his autopsy report has been online since 2009 for those who want to read it.
He also made it no secret he was mentally abuse by his dad who told him all his childhood he was ugly. Which explains the plastic surgery, which people often mix up with him having a uncontrollable autoimmune disease like Vitiligo. When one had nothing to do with the other. Some even get on him for wearing his hair straight in his later yrs.
But, he had to wear wigs by the end of his life because he suffered 3rd degree burns from that Pepsi commercial and his hair just couldn’t grow back and on top of that he also had lupus. All can cause hair loss. He suffered a lot and kept it all to himself.
We for sure took him for granted.

If you truly study his body of work it is without a doubt hes the greatest entertainer that has ever live bar none. And if you don't believe that you just haven't studied his Body of work. God-bless you guys for keeping his music alive. I'm in my fifties and I witnessed all of those songs when they were all released. He was the soundtrack of my life. I cried like a baby when he passed. Very cool. I haven't watched that performance before but this video came up in my recommendations and I figured hey I got time to kill (like most folk have right now :P ) so I watched. Yeah, he's very good.
Have you watched 'Square One' on Amazon Prime (an older version is on RUclips too but I recommend the Amazon version if you have it access to it, I watched via 30 day free trial)? It's a fantastic documentary that explains the original 1993 allegations and how it was an extortion and scam against him by Evan Chandler and how the few later accusers exploit public misconceptions and trashy tabloids about it. I wasn't a Jackson fan before 2019 (I knew the big iconic tracks like everyone did but i never bought any) but since delving into the truth after noticing the huge contradictions in a certain HBO film, I've gained so much respect for the poor guy who was only ever trying to do good for the world through charity and the messages in many of his songs. Wish I'd appreciated him more when he was still around but best we can do now is keep respecting him, remember him as the good and talented man he was and shoot down the lies so people can enjoy his music with no ignorant people trying to ruin things, and leave his family, particularly his three kids, in peace.
Stay safe, healthy and have a good day. :)

Michael Jackson is (and I say this in the present tense for no one comes close to him as an artist) the only artist who can mesmerize, captivate, and hypnotize a crowd on his own - just by himself. No props, etc. He would just be on that big stage alone, do his thing, and it would be enough. The charisma, charm, stage presence, sex appeal, talent, uniqueness, effortless and smooth moves, the little details, the beauty of it all. It’s like watching music come into life. That’s why he’ll forever be the greatest of all time in music.

100% agree with you about the top 10 list....if MJ ain't on it, you're just STUPID. LOL. He will always be my #1 Also, thank you both so much for your kindness and understanding about MJ and who he was and what he went through in life because sadly, as we all know, a lot of people jumped and continue to jump on the, "let's hate on MJ because it's apparently cool to do so..." train instead of doing the research on their own and finding out the TRUTH about him. When I was about 14 and just started REALLY getting into his music, I would cry for him because I didn't understand how people could be so cruel towards him. He was basically bullied to death. In his later years, he said, if it weren't for children, he wouldn't care to be here and that is so sad! His song, Little Susie, which is basically about himself and it's eerie because he also dies like Susie. "Neglection can kill like a knife in your soul...." "...she tried so hard to live..." MJ was neglected and he made his exit. The world didn't deserve him.
