I can honestly say, I was never a fan of Angelina but something happened in her when she did a film in Cambodia and fell in love with what would be her first child Maddox in an orphanage. From there she has become a true humanitarian, visiting war torn countries and refugee camps, donating millions, speaks out for womens rights, gives money for childrens education in conflict affected regions and this is just some of what she does. She truly puts her money and time where her mouth is and you can tell that her heart truly is in each and every cause.
If only all celebs and politicians were humanitarians instead they are narcissist and narcissists like to watch suffering not help it.

I was raised in a violent household with a psychopathic step father who beat me and my mother when he was displeased (which was regularly). Life was a living nightmare. He even drowned my dog....who was my best friend and only true companion. I'm crying as I type this because I've never found peace or healing. And my mom never left him. She let it continue for 13 long years until she died from cancer. You might wonder where my real father was.....he didn't want me because I'm half black. So I was pretty much fucked from birth. I feel such hatred for my mother because she didn't protect me. And I know I shouldn't feel like that because she was not mentally well and was abused too. Its just a sad story all the way around.
I'm happy that Angelina is standing up for the voiceless. There are far too many suffering in silence.

Please…she acts like she was abused when in reality she falsely accused Brad Pitt of child abuse. He was not even arrested. The police and child abuse authorities both investigated and said it was not child abuse. No DA filed charges. No judge or jury convicted Brad. She is insane! For six years she has pressed on accusing him of child abuse in family law court to prevent Brad from having equal time with their kids based on nothing but false accusations. That is parental alienation!
@@robertturner1308 In matters of domestic issues, the police and DA often get it wrong, because it's hard to prove. No one knows what went on in that household but them. While they couldn't prove that he did abuse them, they also can't prove that he didn't. However, she is out trying to help people which is what counts.
May Sorry May but it does not work like that. The police investigated and child protective services did as well as soon as the plane landed. They both cleared him of assault or abuse as Brad is a parent and parents have the right to be physical with kids. I’m not saying parents can beat the crap out of kids at all but they can use some force to maintain discipline. Under the law his actions are not a crime. Jolie failed then and there but she pressed on in family law court (her accusations have no weight in criminal court) and has falsely tried to label Brad as a child abuser. That is not right and is parental alienation. Only narcissist and sociopaths go down that path. She is seriously mentally ill.

@@liafoshia which explains why women had a bill that gave them 1.8 billion dollars in support, women's shelters, body-positive movements, have the majority of sales market directly catering to them, occupy the majority of non-life threatening job positions, have a school system more adjusted to the way they learn, when it comes time to die in the event of any catastrophe it's time to sacrifice men to save the women and children, make more in the same job doing less work (according to the employers at Google and USWNT teams), reports of violence get taken seriously and more. Yup. Women sound super marginalized. Men have it great though. They only take up the majority of workplace deaths, homelessness, mental health illness, suicides, dropping out of academics and an equivalent amount of intimate partner violence to women. But at least when these things do happen men have a bunch of resources available to them. It's not like they get laughed at and told to man up, turned away from women's shelters when they're abused and need to go to homeless shelters or be homeless or just kill themselves. Men have it great. Women are super marginalized though. And that's the way it should be.

It’s only taken seriously when the man is the abuser and the women is the victim. People have said domestic abuse doesn’t count when men are the victims and the women is the abuser, because “men are stronger than women.” That’s not an excuse because female abusers most of the time uses weapons to hurt a man because they know using their hands isn’t going to do damage. Domestic abuse in Lesbian relationships is ignored because it shows that women can be monsters too. They treat it as a regular “girl fight, or cat fight.” Same with gay relationships. They never get any support. Why doesn’t women abusers get treated just as bad as male abusers? There have been cases where women set their male partners on fire while they were sleeping or had acid thrown on them, shot or stabbed to death or poisoned to collect insurance money. False accusations are ignored as well women don’t receive any punishment for false accusations that has been proven. Should do research on that, most cases the man that has been falsely accused is always a black man and the fake victim is always a white women. Of course no time in prison. Divorce, men always lose everything in divorce, kids, house, cars, money, etc. the court always side with women in divorce. There are lots of men who are forced to pay child support for children that is not even their own. You can search that for yourself of course most that are effected by it are black men. Women don’t get punished for purposely getting pregnant to trap rich men for paying them money for the rest of their lives. That has effect lots of men because of women who use turkey baster. Men do face sexism too. Women have privileges too. I am a woman and even I admit it. I’ve seen too many cases like this. I’ve seen a lot of male victims of rape and abuse getting laughed at. I believe putting one victim down is putting all victims down. You should see how women are treated in those countries where women don’t actually have rights. There are countries where beating your wife is not illegal. There are countries where women have to marry their rapists if she was a virgin. There is so much awful things in those countries. America would never do that.
@@NC1195_ , i have a lot of sympathy and understanding towards men as i've talked ot my partner about their struggles as well but to keep it in topic, it's talking about women's and i dont want to open a can of worms post a half novel of my opinion on both sides as i only want to focus on the women's side.
i've expressed my opinions to my partner how men gets the ugliest side of the things in life and they dont have a concrete structure like us women do. i fully understand that to the bottom of my heart. ive had friends who are male who has been abused by women (mentally and physically, sexually) and they dont have anyone to turn to and lead to the path where they dont exists anymore or living a life in fear. and i dont condone women who jokes about accusing their male partners of fake rape cuz men do get in trouble for that in a heartbeat. i also had some friends who married young and never get to see their children and still pay for child support even though the mom was neglectful. i could go on and on and on about it.

I was abused by my ex wife. There still is not much to any support for male victims. We need an act to protect domestic violence victims despite of their gender. There needs to be equal protections for men as well.
I'm so sorry for your trauma. It starts with you. You can be the one to speak for other men. You can do it you will help other men. Then you will have the tremendous support. Start a non-profit and go from there. My brother was in a abused by his ex. I was there to witness it.
@@latanyacochran5279 I actually drafted a bill that went to the house floor twice and random women argued that men would utilize a supportive system to further abuse their victims. It was so crazy, these women completely ignored facts. Men do experience abuse. I was always on edge and when my ex wife got pregnant with another man’s baby I felt bad for her and allowed her to stay in my home with our kids. During that time she raped me and told me she would kill our children if I didn’t sign the birth certificate of her new baby and that we were going to be a happy family. I went for help which fell on deaf ears. I then lost our kids to her trying to get restraining orders and protection from the family courts. No one believed me. She then abused our children for years. My sons suffered massive emotional and physical abuse. It was only due to numerous neighbors calling child welfare that I have my sons today. After years of therapy my boys are doing ok. My son will graduate high school in a year. I have had custody of them for ten years. Their mother is a listed child abuser who just graduated with her law degree. The Child welfare worker claimed that my ex wife was the biggest sociopath they had ever encountered. Once I received custody she made no effort to be in the childrens lives and missed numerous supervised visits. She also quit her job to avoid paying child support. Today i still am not receiving proper amounts for child support and she has never seen inside a jail cell. If our genders were reversed I would have been arrested and charged.
There needs to be more talks for Men victims of Domestic violence and how much it affects them as well not only just women!!

I'm a woman who went through a domestic violence my whole pregnancy back in 2019. After I had my son in December 2019 and still continued getting physical and emotional abuse. When it started to affect my son and found out he was doing it to my son. I finally got the courage to stand up and call the cops. But the cops never arrest him the judge drop receiving order against him and that judge did not want to see no proof of evidence or recordings or anything. Until this day I'm still fighting to protect my son. The dad hasn't seen his son since he was 6 months and that was back on June 2019 I play on keeping that way. When call the cops due to domestic violence and him doing things with the baby in my arm. DCP has been involved twice before and drop the case mind you my two oldest kids even spoke up and they didn't listen to them. I still to this day will protect him so he will not be around his son. When I was threatened twice of being killed or him being killed. But I've been also fighting in court so he cannot see his son due to my son is two now and has severely different medical issues which some was cause from his dad. I shouldn't have to have a judge force me to go to court to figure out visitations or make me seem like the bad guy I have a lawyer but I still feel like there's nobody helping. I know I'm at the point to protesting in front of my courthouse considering the judges which I mean the restraining order judge and the family court judge who is holding my case now and the state police and DCP that did not help or do job to protect me and my son. I am going to be forced to protest because I have to protect my son.There is too many women and children in this world that have die and suffer from domestic violence. due to people not helping or doing their jobs. I am one of those moms that's going to take a stand to protect my child because I can't lose my son due to people not wanting to help or do their job in the criminal justice system. I am a voice for my son and I will be starting a foundation for him and domestic violence women and children do to my best to help and be a voice. I have so much love and appreciation for her work with women and children all over the world! These victims have a real platform with her and thru her efforts to bring the abuses towards women and children into focus. She is fighting a system that for too long have done little and that must end!

@@helena-ff3pi Yep! Agree, and not only that but all the shit she’s putting her kids through, wanting them all to testify against their father, who they love even though he’s not perfect. She’s not a good mother in my eyes. As a product of my parents divorce myself, they both used me like a pawn for a year and a half. She’s brainwashed them since 2016 to believe Brad is the devil. He was cleared by the FBI and CPS, sobered up, and should be able to see his kids! In her recent speech about domestic violence against children, she threw child protective services under the bus because they didn’t find Brad guilty of any wrongdoing. She seriously needs to let it go. I’ve worked in the field with abused children and CPS can be a lifesaver for them. Her comment really pissed me off.

How I feel. I had zero support from the system wen during a domestic time. Calling constantly to report and would get attitude and no help back and was left with one last domestic event happening to me which has left me completely traumatized, anxiety constantly,flashbacks constantly, crying for no reason, any little thing triggers me and it's so hard to cope with because I'll be fine thinking I'll be ok and then it's back and then I'm scared again. I've become so scared of the world it's affected me in so many ways. I love Angelina jolie she is such a huge inspiration. ❤️❤️
Angelina Jolie such a remarkable young woman. She has been through a lot in her short life and has given much of herself. I only wish you could have been there for myself and the other girls in the 1950s and 60's who suffered at the hands of parents, teachers, cops, .........in the richest school district ( or one of a handful ) in the Nation. Jesus I'm in tears right now because I'm a survivor & a victim of abuse I was abused by my ex & by the judicial system my children was abused by them as well, I pray that the silence is broken & the abuse stops soon but in reality I know its not because the majority of the abusers are in the male dominant systems(in my case its non profits organizations who are doing shady deals for the right price) & they are abusing their significant others behind closed doors & the children as I type this message daily & murdering them as well & some cowards commit suicide & then they go to work where they put an mask on after taking an oath(putting their hand on the Bible to be sworn in) to protect & serve us we the people are NOT safe nor protected by the law (with their badges,robes,suits & ties & etc) lie while wearing mask way before Covid this pandemic is killing & sweeping the nation across the country rapidly too the body count is more than Covid trust me & the law doesn't care to shut the world down for it they are pretending to protect & they are apart of the problem too by abusing their wives & children Thank you Angelina for speaking out for us all prayers going up....God.
