What impact do you think growing up in the spotlight has had on her children? 🤔🤔
I don't think growing up in the spotlight is going to have as big an impact on the children as their mother manipulation, control. They are going to grow up having an inner strength they will have no choice as their mother's expectations of them is going to be very high. She will have them molded, groomed early in life as to what she expects of them. Her not wanting them to spend time with their dad will effect the at an early age even more when they are teenagers on. Talking about her children as them being friends is insane. You are a mother, father, that is your role. I will admit you can be very close good communication love each other unconditionally you are their parent should be proud of it. If she thinks unloading adult information on children in order for her to think that makes for a good friendship she is wrong. Their father is their father she should show him respect by not bad mouthing him to their children. Mother being a mature adult in mind would talk to a friend, family member about problems never ever against their father to his children. I think if the children want to discuss the father listen to what they have to say be positive, encouraging for them to have a relationship, that is being an adult. The children will benefit from it. Fighting just to be a right fighter doesn't work in your favour in the long run.

I feel sorry for Maddox & Pax. At least we had our rooms to run to when our father was drunk. But on a plane? Where can you go? You’re trapped. You can eventually forgive these things, but you can’t forget. You can stuff the memories down, but subconsciously this treatment will always affect you.

although Angelina Jolie isn’t a Saint in this situation either, it’s pretty pathetic that people quick jump on brad’s side all because he went through therapy and got sober and better himself and he should automatically be forgiven. It’s a a two way street he got better for himself after his second marriage fell apart. if he really wanted relationship with his kids and Angie how come I don’t hear about him asking them for forgiveness or apologize for the trauma he put them through I mean it was reported that he asked his ex wife Jen for forgiveness and apologized. But guess what Jennifer wasn’t the one who had to put up with his substance abuse for 12 years
Takes me way back to that 1991 movie-film “The Prince of Tides” tells the story of a SC low county 50-60’s family; father a mean abusive alcoholic and this narcissistic mother, who demeans and she’s domineering; their four children in the home all were traumatized (suicidal) and carried into adulthood, struggles to overcome the psychological damage inflicted by a dysfunctional childhood life; based on 1986 book with same title. My hope is that the Jolie-Pitt children, both under age teens and young adult ones if not already done the counseling work, then it’s time for professional counseling, after doing the work, then get on with a productive healthy & happy life! 🙏🏼
Angelina should have never tried to turn the kids against their father. They should have left that between themselves. Angelina always cries if Brad is dating another woman. She is jealous. One incident is not enough to make someone a monster. He has been a good father. It doesn't matter if Angelina tries to make Brad out to be a bad husband. This hurts the kids. Shiloh is smart enough to know her daughter loves him. It is awful to pit these kids against their father. Dropping his name wouldn't seem like a good idea or trying to keep a relationship with him is terrible.
The name they now drop save those kids from starvation and hunger. Even if they re not in good time with him, they should still appreciate what his name did for them.

Angelina is a narcissist and way too close to her children, especially Maddox and Pax. She has done that for control and power not love. Brad should be able to see them 1/2 time, at least. He’s the one that has done the work snd taken accountability. She is an abusive parent mentally and emotionally. She admits no wrong. The kids have not had a stable upbringing. She never let them stay in one place long enough to attend school, except for the youngest kids.
lol brad kept denying he was drunk on that private plane.. when he def was. he caused $25k worth of damages. pushed angelina and maddox. threw his beer at angelina. threw wine at 3 of the kids, no wonder the 3 youngest are frighten of him. it's a known fact that brad drinks alottt, i doubt this is the first time its happened, but prob the first its gotten this bad hence the divorce

What I take from this is all the biological kids, the twins and Shilo have good relationships with Brad Pitt and the adopted children of color do not. the Asian kids have an estranged relationship with him and Zahara drooped his last name. Good for Zahara that she choose Spellman where she could finally come into her own as a black woman among other educated black women. You can see from the clip from her college how happy she is surrounded by women of color. And Maddox is studying in Korea an Asian country.
A great move for Zahara to attend Spelman and become immersed in black culture. Maddox didn’t finish school and is working as a producer on his mom’s current film from what I read.
That’s because Brad never wanted to adopt in the first place he did it because of Angelina so he probably won’t get credit for their accomplishment because evidently Angie was more committed in raising them than he was.

She has had several relationships with men that haven't worked out.
