I've had several requests for this video to be made. Some just wanted the swing passes but I decided to include all passes behind the line. I was shocked with the execution of the screen passes. This video took a while to make but if you like stuff like this give me some more ideas. Thanks.

I like all 3 of these guys.
    After watching this video:
    1) Looked like 2AM threw about half of his swing passes behind the receivers or their trailing feet.
    2) Luke completed maybe two nice screens just behind our OTs..Which is an easier throw than the swing pass to the sidelines.
    3) Vedral appeared to hit ~80% in stride and in the #s. on his 40 or so swing passes.

Adrian seems to be able to make throws past the line of scrimmage that I haven't seen a Husker QB make since Sam Keller (when he was at ASU).
He also seemed to throw picks when the line gave him too much time...Which really concerns me.
Vedral seemed to be our best option ...at running and swing passes..And at chasing down an opposing lineman returning his shovel pass.

Luke looks very raw....Maybe due to running on too much adrenaline in the short amount of plays he's been in...I expect he'll show the most improvement this next season.

They all seem to have similar speed, but Adrian tended to hesitate last season..
Hopefully that will improve with further healing.

I guess a lot depends on what sort of plays we plan to run and maybe opponent's tendencies...Seems like more teams are playing more than just one QB in games lately...I'd almost like to see us play more than one on single plays.

These passes can be very effective if you have big physical receivers blocking on the perimeter. They can also help create big plays down the field if you get the secondary to start cheating up to bear down on those short passes. Opens things up over the top.

I think having Omar manning (his blocking in his highlights is insane) Chris Hickman has a tenacity in him blocking. for how light he was last yearitll be great seeing more weight on him. I’m not sure on the blocking of the transfer tight end but that’s a big dude. That plus not having to red shirt playmakers I think will help. A lot plays into it, excitement for what’s to come but realistic expectations is important. GBR!

People who say they never want to see another swing pass again annoy the hell out of me. When executed well & called at the right time, it's insanely effective.

I agree but its so predictable coming from frost's offenses as of right now. It needs to be mixed in more. It will help having more downfield height this season

blackshirts848 I’ll agree with that, but it’s people saying it should NEVER be run again that annoy me.

@@jasonshaneyfelt1039 I think it's was the type of players we had at the time. the blocking to setup the plays, lots of them were hard to come by.

This just proves it either works great or its a loss. I don't understand all of the hate with the swing pass. If it's executed and blocked well it goes for 10+ yards every time.

The play call resulting in a safety against N.Ill. Whoever called that play should run stairs.

Even with Washington and Spielman most of our passes were sideways garbage that kept the defense breathing down the qb's neck and making it harder for the rb to run. Most of them could've been designed to go down field for yardage instead of equating to a one yard run, a loss, or an incompletion.

LOL this is no different than all those times old Nebraska ran the option play. The biggest go to plays in a spread offense.

I hope Whipple has eliminated the sideline pass from the playbook. It is only slightly less useless as the fade to the back corner of the end zone.

With a qb that doesn't telegraph the play literally 99% of the time and wr's that can hold a block, yes a swing/screen game can be beautiful. Martinez with that sidearm shit? Not so much
