The refs were a joke in this game

This play might be the single best play to characterize the entirety of Nebraska football. Not the best play, but the best representation. Up 35-0 late. A triple option looking play by a QB that is far better on the ground and plays physical football, including initiating contact.

It's easy to trash the defender for not being nearly physical enough, which is true. But this happened mostly because of his mental mistake. He had zero positional awareness, and slowed to avoid over pursuit, and treated the sideline like another tackler, unaware he was too far inside.

He built a powerhouse at UCF and he leaves for this. Big mistake.

Sometimes the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. Scott Frost had a good thing going when he was at UCF. Some people sometimes need to know that moving isn’t always the best thing. He should seriously think about going back to UCF.

I'm glad I found this. I'm Canadian, been to 1 ncaa football game in my life so far, and this was it. I'll never forget the atmosphere at Memorial Stadium. You guys do football a lot differently then we do up here. Lol. I'm now hooked on Huskers football. GO BIG RED!

I was there, and that first half can’t be described. An experience I’ll never forget. Random people were jumping around hugging each other complete pandemonium. NEB has been so starved for a big moment to go well for so long that it was a massive release of emotions.

Unfortunately we have not tasted greatness since 1993-1995, and Eric Crouch. Hopefully that will change since we can legally pay players now. We got plenty of money and the passionate fans to make a couple championship capable teams. Having the larger tournament 🏟️ we help as well.
