Ha ha ....I got it 😂...so funny Oh no I’m no guru (lol) just the mistakes that I made and learned from it .....and I don’t want others to do the same .....because it’s really disheartening to see a succulent not doing well 😔
wow ! watched in full ( even the ads ) love it... you are very thorough in giving details about the lovely sunburn succulents, I had a lot last year during the great heat wave ( August 2019 ) in Southern California... thank you for very precious tips and care . God bless Frank ❤️ Jonah
Ha ha thank you so much Jonah your really kind. Ah yea summer can be really harsh on succulents....hope you have taken preventive measures this time .....yea at time these heat waves can destroyed a healthy succulent in no time ....I wish you all the best and hope everything goes well this summer I too had lot of burns I didn’t realise how quickly the season changes ....I need to be mindful next time 😂 Thanks again Jonah for your visit
@@LushGardener I’m very protective this time . Paying attention to the weather now ... and by watching you I’m always learning and getting knowledge more . So I thank you Frank 🙏🙏🙏
Very good evening Lush Gardener. Yes, I am fine getting roasted in the sweltering summer. ☀️🤔 Whenever I see succulents, I am reminded of delicious sweets. Juicy and yummy. Beautiful video thanks for sharing, have a great weekend 💃🥂
so you do a slow introduction to sunlight ( morning direct) like if you had your succulents in low light and it’s starting to stretch or you have newly purchased succulents…. and they have been in indirect bright light and now you want to put them in direct sun so you start with 1 hour direct morning sunlight the first day get them back where it was then …second day 1:30 mins direct sunlight again back to where it like this you keep increasing each day finally after a week or so of doing this you can now expose your succulents to morning direct sun 🌞
Owing hen & chick plant kept in bedroom post a 6 days plant leave get stat changing along with wrinkles on leave surface, pl advise what should I do? also let me know how could I share image to get fare idea for diagnosis?
you must not keep succulents indoor unless you have grow lights definitely you can share the pics on my Instagram or Facebook both links in description 😊
I think I unknowingly roasted my jade plant. People show their jade plants in their gardens under the hot sun and so I put mine next to the window facing the afternoon sun. Now the leaves are turning black. Any way to save them? If I move them away from the window, will new leaves grow back after the black leaves fall off?
absolutely yes they will grow back …don’t pull out any leaves let them fall off naturally….yes I completely agree with your point ..I have people tell me well my plant is doing well in sun why you advise indirect this is the same reason it’s depends from environment to environment….some people have mild afternoon sun depending on the location…well I can’t do the same lol ….mine will be crispy fried …so yea it depends from location to location and it’s environment safe option indirect bright light or morning sunlight after acclimating
@@LushGardener Many thanks for your advice. While trying to troubleshoot my plant, I also saw other youtubers spraying the whole jade with water from top to bottom, so I gave my plant weekly shower under the tap too. Guess the plant is not happy with that either. I will be going through your faq videos as they will be very helpful for newbies like me :-)

Hi LushGardener, I've listen to this a couple of times but I must have missed it. What is the 1, 2, 3 hour drill?
so you do a slow introduction to sunlight ( morning direct)
like if you had your succulents in low light and it’s starting to stretch or you have newly purchased succulents….
and they have been in indirect bright light and now you want to put them in direct sun so you start with 1 hour direct morning sunlight the first day get them back where it was then …second day 1:30 mins direct sunlight again back to where it like this you keep increasing each day finally after a week or so of doing this you can now expose your succulents to morning direct sun 🌞

@@cechng1451 yes avoid water on the leaves …it can also leave water marks on the jade very difficult to get rid off
