Agree with the Newcastle comment. We lack depth but it is something over many windows this will surely be better, our first subs are Murphy and Longstaff but average players, they're the first choices normally off the bench, we have no depth for injuries or change of styles. But it'll take time and we will have that strength in depth.

I have to say that Arsenal is on the path to success with the great start this season and I'm quite happy as a fan to see this progress because of Arteta's "Trust The Process" Philosophy, it finally to go fruition after a horrible start to an alright finish (again) last season. But one thing that still concerns me is that with many games that will go on, will they ever have a chance to win the Premiere League and qualify for the Champions League this season or it could be yet an another alright finish again and my prediction that Manchester City or Tottenham will have a higher chance to eventually win the Premiere League and Qualify for the Champions League once again could be right on the button if the Gunners will have an another losing streak.(Me as an
Arsenal fan - I have no surprise like at all if Man City would win but Tottenham, oh boy I will have a would have the worst day in my life ever and I will literally jump myself into the edge off the Mt. Mayon and dive myself into the flowing flames of lava downward itself if they would win the crown and I will scream "You Bloody Hotspur!!!!" "NOOOOOO!!!!!!") But only time will tell and the tomorrow will always be a mystery that is still yet to be unfold. Thank You James, And good night everyone in UK. May all your mug of 🍻 left empty.

This season Everton look a different team to last. Lampard really did a good job in pushing for recruitment for the right areas. He's a very attack minded manager but it's pretty clear at Everton he has had to adapt and try to create a more stable spine 1st with signings lile Gueye and Coady. He's doing the right things so far to get Everton on their 1st step back on track.

Few years ago I had no idea which premier league club to support
I’m from NZ and none of my family watches football you can probably tell why from where I live
I took like 6 different quizzes and I got the same answer in all 6
    Everton
I think the deciding factor was that I wanted a club that’s got a bit of history but I don’t mind that they don’t win much atm I didn’t want to come in being a band wagon fan as all the other sports teams I support either make playoffs or outright win the finals
I mean I’m not complaining that’s exactly what I got
But yeah even after only being a fan for few years and seeing them going through this transition in management and yeah it’s a lot to try and take on and understand being a completely new fan to the league I almost feel like I have a taste of what Everton fans have and it’s like we expect to be disappointed but KNOW the team should doing so much better than it has been
Like you can expect your team to do well and be unpleasantly surprised but it’s something that can be shaken off as a bad dream
You can support a team that never does well and isn’t expected ever to do and the losses aren’t as bad you get to savour those rare wins so much more
Then you have Everton who you just expect so much more from who have fallen so far and it’s this fact alone that means no matter how often you tell yourself oh well we probably weren’t gonna win this one anyway you STILL have that taste of disappointment in your mouth

Frustrating considering it’s probably the best squad we’ve ever had, atleast that I’ve seen in my lifetime but Moyes doesn’t really know to use them, think he’s so used to having his back to the wall and playing defensively with hard-working players he just can’t get the most out of technical/offensive players, really worry for Scamacca and Paqueta honestly

I like Moyes but he's that bloke who's bought himself a Porsche 911 but insists on driving it like his old Austin Allegro

Yeah, Steven Gerrard obviously wants to go to Liverpool but he's not even good enough for Villa.

Obviously Gerrard wants to go to Liverpool. Wish he would. But he's not good enough, and whilst it's not the point I hoped he'd prove when he joined us, it is the one I expected him to prove.

Thing about Southampton is we like to give them as little air time as possible. Thing about Tottenham is....

To call Man City boring after all the goals they're letting in and comebacks recently is lazy punditry

Am a PL neutral (former traumatised child of a Man U dad, yet Wolves were our nearest local big club?), and I don't feel much for or about Arsenal. Didn't catch 'All Or Nothing', though had a giggle at the Spurs one years ago. Growing up, Arsenal were 'the other London/Red club, at least they're not MUFC' to me. I find them hard to characterise, except as 'Henry's old team'. But I rate Saka as a player and a person, fwiw. Maybe this is harsh, though, and I should give them a chance to charm me..?

Really? I feel like Arsenal is one of if not the most characterizable clubs in England or even the world. It's such a culture club, we have the streets

      @pendafen7405 2 года назад

@@felixvergro yeah, you're probably spot on from an objective standpoint. It's obviously me that's missing something, here. But no matter what, Arsenal up to now simply don't move me enough to watch them. Idk why, would be interesting to know. Perhaps they don't play a style of football that tickles my brain. Or it's engraved into me that they're just the perennial 4th placers whose fans are always online for some reason (unfair judgement and not the case anymore, I know). Not like I can talk, either--my Conference team are essentially the Norwich/Sporting/Darmstadt analogue of their division tbh.
