Mansoor gets support from Harris in Shantinagar

BANGALORE: Bangalore Central is bracing for the Loksabha Elections, in view of this Shanthinagar MLA NA Harris held a booth level Congress cadre meeting at Grand Magrath Hotel. Harris took the mantel to motivate the Cadre assembled at the venue.
Speaking on the occasion Loksabha candidate Mansoor Ali Khan lauded the efforts of Harris and stated that “Harris and I are known to each other for the last 30 years and our families enjoy mutual bond”. He termed the Harris as an exemplary figure who transformed his constituency as a model to be replicated by others.
Mansoor made a statement that booth level work is very much essential and sought cadre to ensure ground level initiative in garnering positive results. I wanted to build a party, when the ticket to Loksabha was to be allotted, I suggested the name of NA Harris, and incidentally I am contesting from the very seat as Harris has worked as a missionary in the constituency since 2008 and sought continued support and patronage in future.
Speaking on the occasion he took a gig at the Central government for harassing its adversaries at all levels and made an appeal to the congress solders to put up unified effort and to promote booth level activation which is an essential tool.
The event was attended by AICC Secretary Abhishek Dutta, KPCC office bearers G Shekhar, Obaidullah Shariff and Aga Sultan among others. There was a sizable presence of Ward representatives, INTUC, NSUI and block presidents.
