Your videos could never be too long for me. Your voice has a calming timbre coupled with the on point music choices make the whole experience enjoyable ( except for those few, Oh crap, my trailer just broke in half or the micro wind storm ). Those are exciting, from the distance ;-)

This is so COOL! This is why I love traveling by car, van or campers. Learning our country. Oh, many Indian tribes died by interfacing with settlers and .Lewis and Clark. The were not used to diseases such as measles, mumps, colds, flu and most of all central disease when they were raped. My ancestors are Native American also. The best book to read on Lewis and Clark is Undaunted Courage. Get it and read our history. Thanks Bex-Cat!

I enjoy your adventures. You put together great videos and I love the background music you choose. You put out great fact - it shows that you do your homework for the presentation. I've been wrestling with the thought to put together some videos for a group of camper and the beautiful world that is waiting for us. My fear is that when I go to edit the video I may not like my own performance. That's a hump i'll have to get over. Cameras, I want to start off easy, what cameras do you use? Any tip would be appreciated.

There is a lot more history at Fort Stevens State Park than Bex had time to show in this video. When I visited, I went to Battery Russell which is also on the Pacific Coast side. Next to that battery is a large stone plaque engraved with a memorial of the attack on the fort by a Japanese submarine during WW II, which was the first foreign attack on a US mainland military base since the War of 1812. The submarine shelled the fort and also launched a small airplane from a sealed hanger on the deck, which flew over Brookings, Oregon, and attempted to set the forest on fire. visitftstevens.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/FOOFS.NL_.Spring.2017.OL_.pdf The fort also has a nice military museum. Each year, a club that has restored military vehicles does a special event at the park where they drive their vehicles around the campground and exhibit them next to the museum.
