Ya'll need a 2 for one song from Bob Seger. Please check him out doing Beautiful Loser/ Travelin' Man from the Live Bullet album. The transition from one song into the other is flawless. Both songs were released about a year earlier than the live album. There were like 3 or 4 songs between them on the record, but after hearing them performed together live, it was like they were meant to be that way and he's performed them together ever since.
Such a great performance by Bob Seger. Love the lyrics and beat. You are right Asia, sounds like a bit of country, blues and rock all mixed into one. Habits are hard to break, especially if they are people! Thanks guys for your reaction and for posting this one.🧡
I've got about 7-9 of his albums. Spent many evenings sitting by the bonfire, sipping on something cold n smooth. Listening to Bob. Might happen soon its been a couple decades.
This my dads favorite Seger song, he passed in November of last year, i still cant get through a Seger song without crying but this one was super hard but it will always hold that special place in my heart ❤
I had the pleasure of seeing him in 2007 in Cleveland, he had endless energy on stage too. So much respect for Bob,what a national treasure he is, just love the guy.
You guys should check out his song Katmandu it shows just about every version of Bob there is wrapped up into one song. Another great one is Rock and Roll Never Forgets
The GREATEST compliment I ever heard about Bob Segers vocals was from a Radio DJ about 3am in the morning in 1986 he said "Bob Segers Detroit Soul is the Norths Answer to the Souths Gregg Allman"
I saw Bob on every tour from the Against the Wind tour (hasn't been all that many) Always a great show. Now this may sound crazy to some but Bob had just as much charisma as Freddie Mercury, definitely in a different style. Oh, I did see Queen with Freddie 3 times. Bob always has come across like it his privilege to be playing for us. I read something before that he splits things evenly with the band and the only thing he keeps for himself is the publishing.
I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU GUYS FOUND THIS LOLOL 😊 THIS IS FROM HIS 2ND LIVE ALBUM CALLED ( NINE TONIGHT ) AND THIS IS THE 2ND TRACK, THE OPENING TRACK IS CALLED ( NINE TONIGHT, IT'S A FAST BANGER TO OPEN THE CONCERT WITH AND THEN THEY GO RIGHT INTO THIS, SO COOL, THE WHOLE ALBUM OF COURSE IS GREAT YOU GUYS! 😊
It’s actually a track from the Live Bullet album and was added later to the remastered track. Most people don’t know that. It was recorded in Detroit for “Live Bullet” 😊
@@bobdelp2023 I understand that BUT it was originally recorded at the Detroit show for the Live Bullet Album. It was released on “Nine Tonight” years later. 1/2 the songs were recorded in Boston and 1/2 in Detroit.
Hey Bob, you are correct. I was wrong. The track I was thinking about was “I feel like breaking up somebody’s home” That was a added track to the remastered Live Bullet Album. “Trying to live my life without you” was on Nine Tonight like you said. I’m not sure if it was Boston or Detroit where it was recorded it may say on the liner notes. Again, I was wrong. 😀
Okay, you definitely need to check out a Bob Seger tune called “Brave Strangers.” It’s one of his best and most underrated songs. A hidden gem, and no one ever reacts to it.
Absolutely - yes! Brave Strangers is one of my all-time favorites, and I’ve suggested it to lots of channels that reviewed Night Moves - same topic, but a little less “contemplative”; just a fun song. I especially love the live version that was released on the remastered version of the Nine Tonight album. Another favorite I’ve never seen anyone react to is Shining Brightly - probably some of Bob’s finest vocals.
I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE THAT YOU GUYS FOUND THIS ( NINE TONIGHT ) ALBUM OR THAT YOU EVEN LOOK FOR IT, OR SOMEONE GAVE IT TO YOU? 😊MANNNNN I WORE THAT ALBUM OUT AND OF COURSE HIS 1ST LIVE 73 ALBUM ( LIVE BULLET ) INSANE STUFF FROM BOBBBBB! 😊
It brings me so much happiness to see you guys finding the music from when I was a kid and teen. These songs are the soundtrack to our lives. It meant as much if not more than the 50s-60s music for my parents. I get such a desire to go buy a case of beer when I hear this music..which is what we did from junior high thru high school..but now that I spent 20 years driving a truck hardly ever drinking on the road, the feeling passes quickly. lol. but I do have my "two more bottles of wine" for emergencies. lol love you guys.
OMG yall picked a obscure Segar song but its one of my favorites. I use to play it on a local juke box all the time when i was young. Its very rare to hear this on radio then and now.
Thanks, guys for reacting to one of my teenage influences as a musicians. His recordings need to be played to new generations, and you are doing a fantastic job of that. We Michiganders praise you & love you.
Hey guys. Adore your channel! Love watching the warmth and genuineness of your reactions. Please react to Turn your lights down low by Bob Marley and Lauryn Hill. Love and greetings from South Africa❤️
Saw Mr. Seger in 1986 at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto Canada saw him on the first night of three sold out shows. One best shows I saw great artist and performer.
Seger was and is the epitome of a music ambassador. He did 260 concerts in one year..When he had a band in High school they would drive to Florida to gig for 2 or 3 nights sleeping in their vehicles because they didn't have money for a motel .When the car companies were struggling he gave his song Like A Rock to Chevrolet to use.
Everyone always wants to talk about the Eagles, Led Zeppelin, Skynnard….blah, blah, blah Bob Segar NEVER gets mentioned when talk about 70’s super bands comes up. He was HUGE!!!! And his “Live Bullet” album stands up today more than ever. He’s TIMELESS!!!!! You should listen to “Travelin Man” and “Beautiful Loser” combo off of that album along with “U.M.C.” (Upper Middle Class) FIIIIIIIRE!!!!
This song was never on an album until these live concerts were recorded here in Detroit in June of 1980, I was at these concerts, the second live album he recorded " Nine Tonight", the first being "Live Bullet" recorded in September of 1975 both were recorded at Cobo Hall, no longer used for concerts.
Check out Live Bullet his first live album. Travelin man / Beautiful Loser ( both songs together) also his version of Bo Diddly or Let it Rock. The whole album is Fire!
Bob would be so happy to hear what you said about his voice! he grew up on soul and R&B!! This tune was originally done by the great Otis Clay!! Here is Otis's version! ruclips.net/video/wcPe4ale96U/видео.html
THE OPENING TRACK IS CALLED ( NINE TONIGHT ) OFF HIS LIVE ALBUM NINE TONIGHT AND THEN THEY WENT RIGHT INTO THIS 2ND CONCERT SONG! 😊BUT IF YOU DO ( NINE TONIGHT ) DON'T REMOVE YOUR HEADPHONES YOU GUYS! 😊 IT'S AN OPENINGGG BANGER FOR SURE! PEACE
I remember this song by Otis Clay, and have to say for me, Otis version is the best, but I have to give Bob his props for doing it justice. I've always loved Bob Segar's voice.
Here's the beauty of "the silver bullet band". It wasn't a band at all. In the studio, it was one group of musicians, live it was different group. Whoever fit what was needed best.
It's hard to explain just how huge a star Seger was in the midwest during the late 70s, 80s and 90s. Sellouts in minutes wherever he went.
It was big big hit in northeast too!
Not just the midwest dude
In the west too!
He was huge here in the south too! 🥰👍✌
Loved up here in Canada too.
I saw him live in the summer of '77. He did 5 encores until his voice broke. It didn't suck
You can NEVER go wrong with Bob Seger. Everything he did was fantastic!
Abso-freaking-lutely!! Never heard a single one of his songs that wasn't most excellent!!
❤❤❤

The live version of Beautiful Loser is so good.
It's just a given, those songs go together! And they're both great songs...💜
This!!! ⬆️⬆️⬆️
Was coming to suggest this same thing
Hell yes… thats my favorite … beautiful loser!
Asia & BJ, you'll love his "Rock And Roll Never Forgets" and "Katmandu"!!!! BANGERS!!
Bob Seger can really make me cry and then turn around and make me dance! 😥🎶💃

Thanks for listening
Bob has that funk and soul. React to " Sunspot Baby " next. That's a bad jam.
I've got about 7-9 of his albums. Spent many evenings sitting by the bonfire, sipping on something cold n smooth. Listening to Bob. Might happen soon its been a couple decades.

One of my favorites by Bob Seger is his cover of Chuck Berry's song C'est LA Vie. It has that 50's rock n roll vibe.
Absolutely. This is a fantastic cover.
Now THAT is a tune I know you'd kick ass in! Go Asia! Just do it!
Bob Seger is one of the most underrated singer songwriters of all time a true Legend! Thanks for another great reaction!
I haven't heard this song decades! Thank you!! Its feel good music.
Feel like a number..another great song by Bob!
Brother Bob !!!! Can reach everyone rock country r&b blues soul jazz. Amazing group
I might be late to the show but keep checking him out. He does not miss, blues, soul and rock and roll.

Bob Seger's Greatest Hits is a staple for any music lover. Road trip 'night driving' music at it's best.
Seger Rules! One of the BEST ever!... ever!
Freaking Bob Seger......legend
Just love this song . My favourite by Bob . Have been waiting for someone to do this one . Thanks
The GREATEST compliment I ever heard about Bob Segers vocals was from a Radio DJ about 3am in the morning in 1986 he said "Bob Segers Detroit Soul is the Norths Answer to the Souths Gregg Allman"
HE JUST HAS IT, YOU'RE RIGHT ABOUT THAT! 😊HE HAS LOTSAAAA SOUL IN THAT VOICE
Seger among very few artists who sound better on live recordings than in the studio
big applause for the gals singing backup. they are wailing!

Another Commenter referring to 1 of Segers songs being Underrated! His Songs weren't Underrated! He
Seger himself WAS UNDERRATED! Until him and the Silver Bullet Band were Inducted in RR HALL of FAME in 2004 !.
His voice all these years every time ! OMG ❣

This was before CDs. Had this album: double record live set.
This is my favorite song by Bob..Seger
Bob Seger has a heavy Wilson Pickett influence in his voice.
One of my all time favs. Bass lick similar to the Eagles’ “in the long run”
