A square precast concrete pile of sides 0.4 m is to be driven 12 m into the soil strata shown in Figure. Estimate the allowable load capacity for a factor of safety of 2. Owing to changes in design requirements, the pile must support 20% more load. Determine the additional embedment depth required.
    4 m
    Clay s_{u} = 16kPa gamma sutt = 18kN / (m ^ 3) , OCR = 1.2 phi_{alpha}' = 24 deg
    s_{u} = 80kPa OCR = 9 gamma sar =18.5 kN/m^ 3 , phi ox ^ prime =25^
    6 m
    Deep
    s_{u} = 90kPa gamma sar =18.5 kN/m^ 3 , OCR = 16 phi ot ^ prime =25^

Sir pls can u do Q 12 of QB i.e A concrete pile 350mm dia is driven into dense sand for a depth of 8.5m. Estimate the 1) safe load acting on the pile .2) safe load if the water table exists at 2m below the ground surface. Consider following properties of the sand phi = 35 , Gamma = 20 , coefficient of friction between sand and pile = 0.7, Coefficient of earth pressure = 1
