True,what happens is these youngsters would have come from a technical college where things are done properly rather than old school where no consequences are ingrained but survival at minimum cost

I know everything what they are doing here as it was my job in between '88-'99. We used sonic cleaners and sometimes it still wasn't clean enough, hats off to these blokes washing off in a fkn dog dish LOL, love the work ethic of these folk, regards, UK

I wonder if I could ask your advice? I have a DAF 615 diesel engine in my boat. Diesel is getting into the oil and diluting it plus I have light grey smoke at the exhaust. Is it possible the fuel pump is faulty and what is the actual fault? Thanks in advance. Nigel Hatten
@@romakayak I'm not familiar with that engine but it might be the seal on the front of the pump, it depends on how much diesel is getting in the oil, if there's so much diesel diluting the oil it could be getting past the rings and burning to make the smoke.. it could also possibly be a leaky injector that just dribbles fuel into the cylinder and that's leaking past the rings into the sump.. It's really hard for someone to diagnose the problem without seeing it and with so little information

@@christiantorres2950 Thanks for your tip. I found the fault myself, it was the copper seal between the bottom of the injector and the cups. I used a fuel dye to find where the leak was. I changed all the seals and replaced the nozzles and now everything is fine.

The first rule of fuel injection repairs, CLEAN IT BEFORE DISMANTLING ANYTHING! The second is to convince the client to change the engine oil occasionally, this one looks like it was never changed.

That is rural Pakistan not some Kline western nations shop. In Nigeria this will most definitely be the case.

То, что он работает на столе, а не на песчаном полу, как его соплеменники, уже о многом говорит.

То что он отмыл - слабо влияет на работу агрегата.
Внимательно просмотрите на первый пуск после сборки. Там грязь из плунжеров пошла в мензурки!
Не думаю что это хороший старт эксплуатации агрегата.
Плунжера их качество первое дело.
Если не заведётся то это значит плохо помыл)))

That's so cool. First, everything has to be taken apart and cleaned because the Diesel gets gummed up and clogs. Then they put it under pressure to see which one needs to be adjusted. Very interesting machine. I liked it in the Winter cold months I could plug up my block to keep it from getting too cold so the Diesel fuel would fire early in the mornings. 1988 Mercedes 190 D.

It may look rough compared to our garages but these men could show 99% of western mechanics proper work ethic, And how to recycle things unlike our throw away society, And not one cordless tool insight !! Imagine telling any of our mechanics sockets/spanners only no cordless etc, They would shit a brick and go home crying to mama.

Have either of you ever worked in a diesel injection shop? I have. We rarely used anything other than 1/4” drive and 3/8” drive ratchets and sockets, wrenches, and the occasional soft faced hammer. No impacts in sight because we were dealing with small hardware.
All by hand...true machine....

Very Nice
They use a nice bench, but giving the part a quick rinse before working on it would also be advised. Helps keeping your parts clean throughout the process and is just an overall good step in QC. It doesn't even have to be a lot of work. But just a quick rub down with some soapy water to get most, but preferably all, gunk off before you start disassembling. And of course cleaning parts as you go so you don't contaminate everything you touch with dirt.

If he didn’t have to have a reasonably clean space for injection pumps you best bet he would be in the sand.

Those pump parts has to be really clean and kept that way during reassembly.
And his still got a Big hammer, every thing they fix is with a hammer

ремонту топливной аппаратуры дизельных двигателей. Работа , я вам так скажу очень ядовитая .хотя и оплачивается не плохо. На видео чувак молодец . Качественно к делу подходит.
