The wind finally stopped long enough to have a few proxy type packs. Using the AtomRC Theer Bat with a Walksnail 1s VTX. No GPS on this one but using inav for the OSD and Acro
I think I could probably count the number of flights I've had since last year on 1 hand, and they've all been rubbish due to weather. I don't know how it happened but there was a lull of about 2 hours last night where the wind turbines all stopped. So I took my opportunity. The Bat is flying well now, so the next thing will be setting up proper race gates to have a go at.
Cheers! I'm happy with how it's flying now. Previously had a hero6 up front but I've swapped it out for some weights glued in. It feels better. So now I can properly play chicken with the trees. Plus I've just recently made some race gates. It's using a 2306 2300kv motor off an AR900 with a 5050 prop. Plenty fast enough. Id rather have an extra minute of flying than an extra few kph of speed.
